In an effort to make up for the lost weeks due to the pandemic, Parker tries to be more efficient by moving a plant closer to the pay dirt, saving money spent on fuel over the course of the season. But when the move doesn’t go according to plan, Parker ends up losing more money than he would have saved.

I think he makes a valid point. Right now gold prices are high and he can afford to experiment and find out what the most efficient way is to mine before prices drop again... That way when they drop he's more efficient and saves the money he loses through lower prices while at the same time if the prices go up he'll make even more money because he's more efficient. If it where easy everyone would do it. You need to experiment around while you can to make your business last when you can't. He's a smart kid

@matt The only thing of substance he has been given is the knowledge. Whatever amount of currency the got, to start out with, pales in comparison to that knowledge...but only if he makes it work you see. And he did...anyway. Even though i respect that, I wouldn't work for him, as he is an asshole of a boss, im sure. The way he rages at his guys sometimes...Tony for me rather. I can deal with resignation, sarcasm, and the acerbic wit...Parker needs to stop chasing gold sometimes, and get time to grow emotionally

What happened with if it ain't broke dun fix it? If the issue is with the tailings... what about a conveyor belt that basically runs tailings straight to a ditch, rather than all that cost-cutting bullshit and repeat day-losses of moving the damn plant itself all the time. Is it gonna cost? yes. Can Parker afford it? yes. He complains about Big Red getting only in the 150s of ounces when it's his idea of keeping on moving hte plants so there's 2-3 days of lost sluicing time overall, which means only about half-week work time and that explains why there's only 150-ish ounces and not 300 ounces.... yet he says he just dun care about that? Duuuude. He even had some analyst chick out the prior seasons who basically said 'run it faster'..... and now parker seem to think a plant that can only run about half a week should be able to compete with the gold-amount that a plant that ran a full week could rake in?

Design skids that ease moving...plus levelers at the same time. Make them like turned up snow skies...built in levelers in off season. Requires only cutting and welding. Surprised no one has done this.. I guarantee even I could design that idea..or just build a skid moving base with all the above then place wash plant on it and bolt it on.

been talking to tony beets about an idea I have about the wash plant moving itself,I designed it..not hard to do..it will move at about 1 quarter of a mile per hour...but,you are moving a wash plant that is 50 to 70 thousand pounds with a remote as you walk behind it 1 quarter of a mile in 1 hour just for things like this...tony dont care,he has endless wash plants,Ive tried to speak to parker several times,he never responds.THe other year he went to sound america to dig,I begged him not to and told him what would happen if he tried,I have homes down there,I know how this works,he didnt listen and literally ran for his life, which is exactly what I told him would happen before he went..I wish parker would listen to me about a self moving plant, but Im sure he wont.

freebird1ification the material mover that was built on a track hoe platform was a smart move of investment. Tony has a crane that can be moved and set up by one man in a very short time. I'm amazed that the thought and useage of that function of move and set up hasn't been adapted to these drag around sluices! When I operated a crane most times I would move and then set it up in its new spot by myself. Leveling took less than 2 or 3 minutes if the ground was good.

For him to treat Rick the way he did even after all the work he'd done was disgraceful and a wonder he lasted as long as he did without punching him square in his big honker. Now Brennan and Mitch bare the brunt of his immature behavior and i'm surprised they've lasted this long. I reckon the tv aspect and money from the episodes have a bearing on their decisions.

Parker would be an absolutely horrible man to work for. I can tell from his demeanor and the way he talks thinks and acts. He doesn’t care about you. About your life or any part of you. He is solely focused on winning the game of life, and he says you do that but amassing money that you don’t need, which makes it more of a scoring of points than anything else. He was programmed brainwashed at a very Young age by his family parents and grandfather to believe that the only reason for being is to amass as many points as you can before the clock runs out. A despicable person. Toxic to the core. An energy vampire. Highest level of predator that there is. Actually a waste of human potential. Down in hell they will ask him what he did with his time up on earth and he will respond well I finished the game before time ran out with the most points.

Ditch mining gold. Mine some Bitcoin. You’ll never have to worry about rain again or having to lease and destroying a ton of land along with the purchase of all that equipment.

They need a tracked wash plant I don’t know why one hasn’t been made yet. They make tracked crushers so it could obviously be done
