Good to see u back on RU-vid, loved to watch and learn from it i am thinking to get milwaukee press gun but not sure which model to get any recommendations would be appreciated. Many thanks
I bought a press gun last year and used it maybe 10 times if that. Just find myself always getting the torch out. 22mm 10xtee 10xelbow 10xstraight £72!! For 30 fittings just can’t justify it
Time is money if I could justify using a pressfit machine I'd have one tommorrow.....but I use fittings once or twice a week at the most now ,if I was back installing I'd use it to save on time....plus it makes you think about using the least amount of fittings to complete the job....
Just wondered how you keep track of your boiler services as in the dates carried out and dates due etc... any app recommendations? I've put all mine into a spreadsheet but it's a nightmare changing the dates and re ordering it all etc... Great vid 👌
@@ParkesPlumbing ahhh I see... I have them booked all over the place! Glad to see you looking alot better mate 👍 and thanks for the quick reply! 5 star service all round... I'm still getting back to December's calls and messages...
Had nothing but bother with my R'berger tt compact from day 1. Sh1ts the bed every few weeks. R'berger upgrade me to the romax big boy gun at no extra cost. So far so good. Only use uponor 16+20mm mlcp and copper press fit now. It's so much quicker
@@ParkesPlumbingyep the tt compact is a great tool it's just incredibly unreliable. I went through 4 guns in 6 months 🤦♂️. R'berger looked after me well though which made it a bit less stressful
I'm not a gas fitter but I would not put my name to a repair like that, you have left it in a dangerous position that it could be drilled through once covered up , a small leak into the void behind the plaster board above the hob ? and there could be a nice big explosion
