I’ve never seen a son take over any business or company and just pick up where dad left off as well as this guy. Dale Earnhardt Jr. dose a good job also but this guy is #1
I LOVE the peashooter tanks with the rocker cut outs added! Too many custom touches to count. This bike is a "sit on the ground beside it and study it for 3 hours" kind of bike! Too cool.
AMAZING work of art..... this era of motorcycles by Harley are simply timeless and only get better with time.... the lines of this particular bike are simply stunning...!!!
Always a great video. That is a living breathing work of art. Bill Harley was quite an engineer but to see how others modified it so long ago and it's still here is just a pleasure to see
What a cool piece! Thank's Dale for sharing your bike & your knowledge of it! Thanks Matt for hosting ALL of these videos. Great way to keep the flame burning!
Me and my wife stopped in today for the first time ever seen the motor drone and seen Matt start many vehicles watching his passion twords these bikes was amazing loves it worth the 9 hour drive thank you
Thanks for a view of early custom H-Ds. Interesting that the original customs were all about improving performance; now it seems it's all about "style" changes that make the vehicle less capable.
Marco, maybe you should look for new friends. There are thousands of Harley guys out here doing all this same stuff today to our modern bikes. How about those 131 ci motors, right from the factory. And S&S 143 ci motors, and Ultima 140 ci motors ?! Then Baker 6 speed transmissions on the market for years now. Hot rod clutches available from several manufacturers. And high performance disc brake set ups in several configurations are available. Crazy 'upside down ' fork legs, and a host of rear suspensions for people to choose from. Electronic ignition systems up the gazoo, and fuel injection, or multi carburetors available of every design imaginable ! Harley riders today have more performance items available to choose from than ever ! And more info about all that than ever due to the internet. So Marco, get out there and build ' YOUR DREAM BIKE' ! Maybe 100 years from now, some young fella's will be drooling all over what 'you did', way back when ! Someday I'm sure, it will be said that "THIS was the 'GOLDEN AGE' of Harleys" ! Because right now is when thers is more available to Harley enthusiasts than ever before in history ! Hey, so let's not waste it, thinking about the past ! JUST GO FOR IT NOW ! RUBBER DOWN, THROTTLE UP !
Absolutely amazing Harley! like all good old Harleys they have great history and a good story ! Thank for you time to show us harley had a great seeing and hearing all about it
@@TheWolfsnack Most of them sound broken and we expect that's how they were in those days. But that one's like a Swiss clock. You'd never believe it unless you heard it.
Love watching all these great videos you do such amazing stories and Info on all of those great bikes . Can't wait to get to the museum one of these days soon
I'd venture to say the cutdown style is synonymous with the bobber style. Besides that; that's the best damn exhaust note I've ever heard from any Harley!
Awesome seeing these vintage HD’s still running strong oh I’d use some locktite on that rear sprocket bolts and see ya all in Daytona BikeToberfest 2021 at the Cabbage 🥬 Patch/ Cacklebery Campgrounds
That is one of the coolest looking bikes I have seen. Not really a Harley bloke but that thing is next level. Great job from blokes almost 100 years ago. Bloody awesome bike
Love it, other than the tops of the fork sticking over the handlebars. That was the beauty of the Indian Leaf Spring Fork, with flat bars, they looked so mean, and if you were involved on an accident theres nothing poking up to impale you!
