I like the fact that, even though you aren't selected by the owners to do the towing, you're still just as careful with their cars as you would be if you were owner-hired. You're a good man.
the owner of the company doesn’t want to be sued for damages they didn’t do bc people will say the tow trucker caused damages even though they know the tow trucker didn’t
2 years I decided to give up driving, I’m 72 and didn’t want to be one of those inept old ladies. My reactions have slowed but I enjoyed driving so much, then I hit on your channel, love it, as we don’t have your kind of work in UK. You always brighten my day. Stay safe Johnny.
I'm 70 and do some of the same stuff as Johnny. We pass on the illegal parking, but we do DPS list calls, as well as clearing old abandoned junk. In the past, we snagged cars that people put in a parking lot across from a restaurant. We'd sit down the street and watch the parking lot we were called to clear. When a car would be put in the lot, we'd wait five minutes to allow the people to get seated, then we'd swoop in and snag the car. Sometimes we'd get two. Occasionally we'd set up the trucks and slowly make a lot of noise, allowing people to get back, pay the drop fee, and take their cars. One day, a strange thing happened. As we watched, a driver parked his car in the lot, went to the restaurant, and came back to the car as we began to close in, taking it out of the lot. We just backed up and got set for the next one. After a while, another car showed up and was parked in the same place as the one before. We began our move and suddenly the driver showed up and took the car out. We were young and dumb and full of cum, so we just returned to the hideout again. When the third driver charged out and grabbed his car, we figgerd something was going on. Rick went to the restaurant and found out what was happening. The restaurant put up a large sign in the entrance advising customers of the likelihood of the cars being snatched. Of course, we told the restaurant we were happy that they put up the warning. We explained how we preferred to not actually tow the vehicles, but let the people take the vehicles for a release fee. We changed the strategy and would charge at the car put in the lot, even as the driver was crossing the street. We still got plenty of drop fees, with actually towing the cars being nearly non-existent.
Oh boy, you are brave, heading out to the unknown every day! As a sheltered old lady on an island of the west coast of Canada, I am amazed at the tricks and folks you deal. You have integrity and manners!
I totally applaud these managers who cleanup, get the junk out of these properties. Their trash is not my treasure & with rental rates what they are, I expect my area to be tidy. You do great job!
Good job Johnny, I did towing in the mid 1970s in Lake Tahoe CA, steel bumpers, manual door locks, all cars were rear wheel drive. Different times... I enjoy watching what you do!!!
Been a subscriber since 116k and liking the channel more all the time. Appreciate the way you take care of the cars and talk to the people. Great job Johnny.
As a retired Towing & Recovery guy I love your channel been fallowing from start most respect for you as a person first kind of attitude. Keep it up Brother!
You’re a great example for all of us, regardless of profession, on how to treat others. I can feel my anger rising at the situation, but you somehow come across so calm! Hope your insides are as calm as your exterior demeanor. Much respect, towtrucker.
Go back and watch older videos. He’s had a lot of “Test Drive” tags and some were quite inventive. I had never heard of these before watching his videos.
I love it when you can get the vehicles off of the property & back to your yard. That means they have to come to your yard, pay for it, & get it back to where they live. Hopefully that will teach them to make sure their vehicle is up to code & legal/able to drive. Be safe out there TowTrucker Johnny❣️
love how people think a hand written test drive tag is legal lol good work as always pointing out what damage is already there. keep up the good work and stay safe johnny
Titus Matus yes! Here in California there are only special METAL plates that the dealer can place on a car for a test drive and are removed when the test drive is over. There are no "test drive" paper plates in existence here. California car dealers also issue temporary paper license plates on cars sold (only the dealer can print on special paper). It's amusing how many people in Georgia try to make their own!
We don't even have "test drive tags" in Connecticut. Never knew such things even existed until I started watching Johnny.... Here in CT we have to have insurance and the dealership registers the car for you before you can drive it off the lot after buying. Test drives are done BEFORE you buy the car (with a magnetic dealer plate, and the salesperson is with you for the whole 15-20 minutes you're test driving the car), not after....
I giggled at your comment because I saw that crap all the time when I lived in the Atlanta area 2006-2012. Maybe the laws have changed now, I wouldn't know, but the State of Ga used to have a 10 day leniency for getting a tag and title transferred so people, and car thieves, would just write a note and stick it on where the plate goes "Just purchased" thinking that would help them get less attention. People that legitimately bought a vehicle that were within the 10 days didn't put anything on the plate holder because they didn't have anything to worry about since it was all legit. The idiots putting notes there were calling attention to them selves, and almost all of them were illegal. It was either stolen or there was something up that the state denied giving them a tag.
On a "plate" that only says "Sold by a LICENSED independent dealer." Get outta here with that. That's about the worst fake there is for temp tags. At least some of the other ones look somewhat believable 🤣
Johnny, you got skills, my man, the way you can load [nearly] anything from any number of obstacles is truly amazing. You, sir, were born to be "Towtrucker". 😉👍
I stumbled across your channel several weeks ago and now I am addicted! You are a very hard-working and careful worker. You’re always very respectful and try to do the job as quickly as possible. I don’t know what I find so addicting about your channel but I do. And I will keep watching, after the very first video I watched I liked and subscribed. Take care, stay safe. Your job is not an easy one nor necessarily a safe one, so be careful. God bless you.
hey, i am a retired disabled marine with 26yrs in, you have to be the most patient man i have ever seen, our patients in a combat zone is non existent, which tells you what our answer is to problems, i am glad you can deal with people like these brother stay safe
I can just imagine the tow yard all the "damage" claims they say the tow truckers damaged their cars. And it always takes a few "scammers" to ruin such a beautiful gesture your contest is. Love the Channel and Videos 🤩
Stay safe out there, Johnny! Have to admit I was a little nervous for you when those kids? biked out of there fast. I thought they might be going to get the owner. Prayers & love from NY.
#248 Down! Great job, Johnny! It blows my mind how these people can just lie and say "we're gonna move it now" or my favorite, "my mechanic is on the way" or "why don't you start by towing one of these other cars first". I pay my rent so therefore I can do whatever I want on this property. Never mind that guys are standing around waiting for their vehicle to get moved so they can get to work. Anyway......I'm off my soapbox. BTW, love the new outro music. Keep 'em coming. Be safe, GOD bless you and keep you safe and GOD bless America!
I don't get how people think they won't get towed with a test drive or the fact that stalling never works. Keep up the great work Johnny you always get the job done no matter what. Be safe out there my brother
I have just discovered this channel and I love it. From what I can gather, it's about "yanking cars". I have total respect for towtrucker. Yanking cars is what he does because somebody has to do it. He's a hard working no nonsense professional doing dangerous and physically demanding work in hot and humid Atlanta. Lucky for him, his job will always be secure because there are plenty of irresponsible people who (1) haven't read their lease so they don't know the rules, (2) don't obey rules or laws anyway, (3) don't care for their cars, (4) leave their broken down cars jacked-up in the parking lot, (5) leave their "slap burned-up" car in the parking lot, (6) don't register their cars because they probably don't have insurance either, (7) park where they shouldn't, or (8) have no comprehension about what a warning sticker means. Great job towtrucker! God Bless you!
It is very good that you note the damage as you are preparing to tow. It makes it a lot easier for insurance companies to deny a claim of damage when you have video evidence that it was already that way. Keep up the good work.
Johnny, is it a sense of entitlement or they just ignored the window sticker? I’d be glad my complex manager was trying their best to keep the area safe and tidy! It’s good to see that the work you’re doing has not seemed to change your character or work ethic. You’re fair, patient and respectful.. thank you for taking the time to show us a day in your life!
FINALLY!!! I was just going to bed until I saw my favorite nonfiction nice to hear from you Johnny looks like ima grab some beer and chips and start watching my favorite RU-vidr God bless brother keep up the work please be safe!🙏
Johnny I admire the care you take with the cars you tow even though the owners are sometimes not around. I just saw a video of you towing a Charger and Challenger and, as a Challenger owner, I admired the extra time and care you took to not tear them up. There are a lot of tow companies out there who simply have no regard for the cars they tow and furthermore lack the responsibility for the damage they cause. It is good to know that there are tow guys out there who actually do care and do their best to not cause any damage to any cars. Keep doing what you do man. God bless you.
I've been watching since the beginning and your consistency handling each tow with integrity, honesty and professionalism is impressive. Thank you for being a role model to people everywhere. You show them how to work in one of the toughest industries you don't need to cut corners, or be disrespectful. You teach how to do the job with pride. We love you for that Johnny! Stay safe, be well and God bless you, your boss and all your co-workers! 😊🙏🏻❤🌻
love your videos! just started watching a couple weeks ago...came up on my feed and im hooked :) trying to catch up with all your old stuff every night..stay safe!
I noticed in the first video I watched you shared your relationship with God and that you are humble because of Him and is why I watch and subscribed. A Christian is easy to pick out because they realize the power of the tongue. You are a great example to others because you don't cuss, keep your cool, thank people for their patience and care for their property as if it was yours. You really love your neighbor and it shows. Keep up the great work. All glory goes to God!
It's a sad commentary that CYA has become a daily activity with every profession. But when you are such a professional it only makes sense to do everything in your power to not let them get away with smearing your good name. Keep it up and stay safe.
Amazing video as always johnny. The complex I live in out here in UT just had paving done and the company they used pulled at least 24 cars out. It's crazy how many people in my small complex ignored the notices. As always keep up the amazing work and god bless. Keep ing you and yours in my prayers.
Please stay safe Johnny God bless you and your family love watching your videos every time you put one out it’s not the same old same old stuff I love when you catch his handicap cheaters God bless
It’s a shame that those men wanting to do their jobs were just having to stand around and wait. Geez some people. You are always so careful with all of the cars you tow. Stay safe and God Bless
Why leave your car broke down call a tow truck like a sensible person not that hard. Then the lady taking pictures of the car like Johnny damaged the bumper and stuff. Johnny a professional driver.
The tow would be more than what the car is worth. They did the smart thing. When junk breaks, you pull the tags and walk. The engine is probably blown.
You're really good at your job bro. I couldn't do it. You have way more patience than I do. Also the fact that you treat involuntary toes as though their top dollar toes shows so much about yourself as a human being. Good on you bro.
First, that lever action is on point, pull and tilt! 2nd, you always document damage and keep them from further damage during the tow. Last.. you know, as always Johnny, stay safe and keep on towtruckin!
Tow trucker you are truly a good person, to be able to be fair and treat people with respect in your line of work. Keep up the good work and may God be with you.
I am a programmer now, but i worked 12 years doing rough and tough job with rough and tough people. Having a fight with a drunk at 3 AM is more honest than office politics. They don't shoot straight.
Hey brother I love the videos kept up the good work I'm in the business myself . I'm going on 16 years in towing . I mostly do roadside but I've done PPI work as well so I know how stressful I can be . God bless brother and be safe
It is actually a very good idea for you AND the owner to video the situation. Not everyone is as careful as you are and whoever is responsible for damages should be held accountable.
I think that your calm personality really helps with the situations you have to deal with on a daily basis. I really enjoy your videos. Stay safe Johnny.
Thanks for another great video. I enjoy the new camera angles and the music bad behind your videos. I really appreciate how you take care of your subscribers.
As someone who's had a car break down before, I wasn't able to rest until my car was back in my yard. To see someone leave their car at a call box overnight and into the next day is unreal! Not only are you inconveniencing those who need to use the call box but you're also running the risk of pissing someone off and then damaging your car.
We've had people leave their cars in our business parking lot for days. The lot is plainly marked no parking 24/7 but that doesn't mean anything to them. What's even more aggravating is that they bitch and complain when they finally come back days later and find out that we had their car towed.
Johnny it's a good day for a new video to watch. Wow people sometimes wowsers there's very ridiculous. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep repoing. Keep recovering. Keep towing. Keep yanking Keep making. God bless.
