Parking signs Sweden are quite complex to understand. One has to know and understood what does a particular parking sign says. A lot of parking information's you can extract if you understand the parking sign. So this video will explain about parking sign or parking tutorial in Sweden or Europe.
Parking signs in Sweden are an important aspect of driving in the country. There are various types of parking signs that drivers need to be aware of to avoid getting fined. The signs indicate whether parking is allowed or not, and if allowed, for how long and during what hours. For instance, a sign with a red circle and a diagonal line indicates no stopping or parking, while a sign with a blue P indicates a parking spot. The blue P sign may also have additional information such as the maximum parking time and the days and hours when parking is allowed. It is important to note that restrictions for stopping and parking are not always designated by road signs, and motorists must still be aware of restrictions. Parking fines in Sweden can be very expensive, so it is crucial for drivers to understand and follow the parking signs to avoid getting ticketed.
Parking signs in Sweden are important to understand to avoid getting fined. The signs are present throughout the country and indicate whether a place is a parking spot and what limitations or possibilities it offers. The signs consist of a large upper signal with the letter P and in many cases, other signs in the lower part that indicate the parking conditions in that area. The blue P sign may also have additional information such as the maximum parking time and the days and hours when parking is allowed. It is important to note that restrictions for stopping and parking are not always designated by road signs, and motorists must still be aware of restrictions. The road sign indicates that parking is allowed at a parking lot or on the side of the road where the sign is placed for a maximum of 24 hours on weekdays. Parking fines in Sweden can be very expensive, so it is crucial for drivers to understand and follow the parking signs to avoid getting ticketed.
To find free parking spots in Sweden's cities, you can look for public parking spaces with at least a 2-hour parking limit, which are free to park on . You can also find cheap parking spots at P+R locations near metro stations or unlimited parking at car parks in the city center . Additionally, you can use parking apps such as Parkster or EasyPark Group's Find & Park service to find available parking spaces in real-time. However, it is important to note that finding free parking spots in central areas of the city can often be challenging, and parking garages in downtown areas can be expensive, costing around SEK 250 per 24 hours or SEK 60 overnight.

Thanks for the explanation. One doubt I have. For the first set of example, in case of (A) Saturday and Sunday you can park for 2 hours? For (B) Saturday and Sunday its free and no time limit?

@@Key2DLIsn't it that 8-18 here refers weekdays and a normal week has 6 weekdays according to Swedish traffic rule when there are no holidays. So I think the above board about timing refers to Monday to Saturday(including). A) parking is limited to 2 hours all days and fee is only between Monday to Saturday (except Sunday and holidays) between 8-18 2) Parking on Sunday and Holiday no time limit. But parking between Monday till Saturday between 8-18 is paid and also at a time 2 hours

I will check, may not be possible to remove from this video. If it’s possible definitely remove, otherwise for other videos I will take care of that from the beginning. Thanks for your comment. Or I can make another video of same content without text. Without text is better or need smaller text?

in 1st case, between 18-20 you can park for free but for 2 hours only. but for 2nd case between 18-20 you can park for any time fully free.

I don’t understand that ,is it 2 hours apply for Avgift 8-18 in example A
@Key2DL
@Key2DL Год назад
In A only 2 hours max one can park , because 2 hrs sign is in a different extra panel. from 8-18 its have an fee but 18-8 its free but always a max time is 2 hours, In B, its 2 hours and fee from 8-18 but after that its free and there is no time limit but you can not go beyond 8.00 in the next morning. Then its again that rules repeat.
