" 1. Stimulates mitochondria-... so then the cells can get cracking." isn't Dr Cathrine Hamilton a fun and endearing person to hear as she teaches?' I so enjoy her descriptive skills!
I studied photonic engineering 20 years ago and looked deeply into it this last year as i was struggling with post covid symotoms that were too similar to early onset parkinsons and or early onset dementia, but over night rather than gradually over time. Between using red/near infared light plus supplements recommended for both conditions, has made a HUGE difference in how i feel and how i perform in my daily tasks. I didnt know about these videos or the premade halo so i hunted til i found a bulb with the right nm wavelengths in one bulb. Its definitely worth trying for post covid in my experience.
@@Mau365PP i bought a $35 (cdn) led red/near infared grow light from Amazon, screwed it into s heavy duty desk lamp and made my own light therapy device. As for supplements the only ines i am taking (other than the regularly recommended vit c, d3, k2, zinc, selenium, atlantic kelp for iodine, and metamucil) i found one called lactoferrin and it has been a huge game changer. Do take it with metamucil though becauae otherwise it can and will cause constipation. I also take l-arginine to bump up my nitric oxide levels as well.
Thank you for your informative video. We purchased a Therapeutic Light Helmet from TLA Australia. We were wondering if that would be as effective as the coronet. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
She didn't directly answer the question as to whether the light can penetrate the skull into the brain. I believe it does, but not sure of the science.
I have been using my coronet religiously, twice a day since the beginning of July 2023 and I am seeing no improvement, and in fact my Parkinson's is getting worse. I am depressed.
Thank you for the detailed video. Wanted to ask if a red light panel device, held 6 inches or so from the head, would likely also have the same beneficial effects on brain? Most of the discussion on this appears to be around the devices that fit more closely to the head.
WellReds panel / Pad is what I have. Which I got from Catherine directly. I do not have P.D. But it has helped with my feet (age related Neuropathy) I also came across High dose B1 therapy for PD site which holds out hope for many. I also ocassionally rest it on my head (flashing to avoid too much heat) If one can't afford coronet... it may be an option for you.
The medical light therapy manufacturers in the US indicate the closer to the skin the contact, the more effective. InLight Therapy systems made in the US are very specific about this and the results are impressive.
I have long thick hair. Nearly waist length and have been using my red/near infared light for post covid cognition and autonomic dysfunction. Indirectly it stopped the hair fall i was suffering since post covid started in early 2020. If my hair hadnt been really thick prior to covid id have likely started balding. Not my cognition has returned to precovid, my hair stopped falling in clumps and my physical symotoms have all been gradually receding. Between the light therapy and supplements i am nearly back to who i was prior to covid.
I’m using right now for the first time! Am so excited about this therapy. It was easy to put together even with my 76 year old hands. Going to try it on my husband- as he is recovering from post Covid.
Been using the Duo Coronet on my toe and my toe nail fungus is clearing up, tried for two years to get rid if it , also noticed other minor changes in my books that is my stools are softer before they were harder, So I guess RLT is working but I will have to notice a major change. Started my Mom on RLT last week 8/18/24, she has Alzheimer hope it helps her.
So... I'm curious if you had looked at the Methylene Blue component?..... using the red light therapy with the Methylene Blue.... increases the efficiency and increasing the results tremendously
What is the amount of radiation emitted by the lights? even if within or below what standards dictate (I would assume there are safety regulations). I find it concerning when the exposure is done routinely on a daily basis. I can appreciate the daily recharge and benefit for the mitochondria, but what about long term radiation exposure and the risk of cancer development.

Hello Dr. Catherine! I acquired a red light Coronet from you in May, so have been using it twice a day for 6 months. I am thrilled by the results! I would like to acquire the new nostril lights. It appears that I will need a new Coroner to accommodate the new nostril lights and that is okay. I have the Dual Coronet for Parkinson’s. Thank you, Queen Mary
Sometimes after infection high antibody level increase tendency of erytocite to agregate ,especially at low blood temperature. May be infrared light decrease tendency of erytocite to agregate?and secondary improve capilllary circulation(?)
May be mecanism are not only at mitocondria level but also at cell surface decreasing tendency of erytocite to agregate? May be high blood temperature decrease adsorbtion ?
I may have missed it , but what are the benefits of using 40Hz pulsing? Any advantages using other rates, such as 10hz? Vielight is where is I noticed the 10hz rate.
@@audreyboyle52 Suggest looking up Hubberman Lab on youtube as he talks about Sauna and Infrared Sauna : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EQ3GjpGq5Y8.html and his one on Red light etc: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UF0nqolsNZc.html
I have purchased numerous lights with combination red and blue light at the correct mz but wondering if wattage makes a difference? A friend of mine told me that the lower wattage lights don’t penetrate. Would love a professional opinion.
You could also look up a company called symbyxbiome. They do a device for Parkinson’s and one for pain and inflammation, or a different one that combines the two. They also have a helmet with pre-set times, protocols, etc. They have done a triple- blind placebo controlled trial over 3 months showing significant improvements for Parkinson’s, neuropathy, Alzheimers, fibromyalgia and arthritis. So I guess it may be of benefit for you. They have a panel of clinicians who will answer your question about Essential Tremor. They are in Australia, and they will actually answer the phone or emails to help you get answers. There are also quite a lot of RU-vid videos about the “Symbyx Neuro” which is the helmet.
