Frosti is like a a game character or something. He friggn executes everything with such clean and moves that flow. To be honest, they all got some sick flow in their runs.

@RazvaNano You're right, parkour itself is not a competition. But that doesn't stop people from using it in competitions if they think it'll help them.

@alexanderhogarth Looks move like people moving from a to b in the fastest way possible. Which you do in.. uh, obstacles courses, and which have been done since pre-history.

i know Parkour isn't about competition and everything, but this is the way it should be done if it were. REALLY sick!

Comment section is surprisingly full of chumps. This is a really good idea and is the direction which I want to see competitions heading in the future, I hope this idea of speed rounds catches on, because unlike art of motion type events it will push Parkour further and in a positive direction.

Okay, I'm confused about the scoring system. The vid showed the competitor named "Frosti" as having best time in 2 heats, but he didn't place at the end? What other factors go into deciding the winners?

To all those saying that Parkour is an "art" and shouldn't be competitive... Are kind of wrong... Parkour is meant to be the physical activity in which someone finds the "fastest" way through a set course (point A to B.) It is perfect for being competitive since it will only push you onto being a better Traceur. This is why Parkour is considered a Sport more than an art... The art IN Parkour is expressed through Free-Running or "The Art of Motion." This doesn't mean all beginner Traceurs should throw themselves top speed... Parkour is also designed to be the "Safest" way to overcome obstacles. Know your limits, but mostly importantly, just have fun.

@BlacksVideos I would say that all the competitors are having to do parkour in order to get through the obstacle course as fast as possible... What makes you think otherwise?

@ThomasAleks My thoughts exactly, they announced second place and I was like, aw too bad for the guy who won round two. Then he was first and I was like what the hell? The guy with the best time in two of the course doesn't even place? He took basically 44 seconds on the first and third, means it took him over 48 for course two. That's like ten seconds behind! Too bad for him it's overall time and not point based.

I'm keen to get into this, any crews in Auz??

@BlacksVideos and furthermore, in many ways people have been doing parkour to the best of their abilities since "pre-history". It's just nobody has given it that name until recently...

Shorts would only improve your times on courses like these by less than .1 of a second if at all, the only thing pants do is weigh you down a tiny bit.

If someone did this in an Ezio Auditore cosplay, there would be so much win!

Well, its not really a parkour competition. Its more like a movement competition. They just use the name parkour for commercial reasons and marketing.

You guys should've gotten more camera guys to switch out / a lighter camera, cuz it seems he got seriously tired, having to film people speeding through a course in like 30 seconds or less, again and again
