On his channel, he’ll set a crack boulder problem which, genuinely, no one else on earth will do, he’ll spend a week on it, in immense pain, but once he’s done it, he’ll start to master it and he will very quickly downgrade it massively. Insanely humble and insanely talented

Pete also casually tore a ligament doing a horrible heel hook during a video between Midtbø and himself and still felt fine enough to try to do a few more climbing attempts. The tearing was not meaningful as he is now back to his usual strength but still.

So I just watched 20 minutes of men hanging from a rod. Just hanging and falling off. I never even noticed the time - totally engaged by guys doing basically nothing. Genius level editing and film story telling guys! It has long been the case that 'part' of why Storror is what Storror is - the film making is as good as any and incredibly consistent, week on week on week. Pete is an ironman without an ounce of tough guy energy about him. What you might call a 'sleeper' when it comes to toughness. A spectacular display of both body and mind power/endurance. A gripping movie in which very little happened.

Absolutely phenomenal. I had my money on Pete from the start but after Toby stepped up and Pete was looking tired I was thinking he might have a chance. Also bit of a cheap shot to say that our boy Toby is doing it for the parkour when he's just as much on the climbing side of things as he is the parkour side! Excellent stuff, I'm just praying for more content between the lads and Pete. Absolute champ

honestly such a great video... you made so much out of basically just "one shot" like eventhough it was just one after the other the editing on this makes it even more interesting to watch big up

1-0 Climbing 🤪Absolutely love this! Been a subscriber of both channels for ages so to see you all together is awesome! Anyone that hasn't watched the series with Toby and Pete on the Wide Boyz channel should absolutely do that now! Also, _The Great Rift_ is a really good watch and I reckon it'd appeal to parkour people. It's Pete and Tom climbing the underside of a motorway bridge and it's a 4 day route!

Everyones talkin about Pete's grip strength but his core strength is absolutely mental too, I mean just watch the way he shifts hands compared to everyone else. Its so controlled.
@Juushii
@Juushii Год назад
I wouldn't say that's much core, if anything it's shoulders stabilizing and slow movements that make him look controlled

three minutes is honestly really good, I tried this at the gym and could only do a minute and a half and I thought I had decent grip strength
@SelcraigClimbs
@SelcraigClimbs Год назад
@@holliswilliams8426a lot of this has more to do with grip endurance rather than strength, and much more about your shoulder and back strength and stability.

Like Pete said at the start, for anything over a few minutes it's all about pain tolerance. Pete has trained at suffering for a decade or more
