Welcome Back!
Join me and John (KC0JH) for Parks on the Air at US-1776, on July 4th!! I have been wanting to activate this park on the Fourth of July for 3 years and have just never been able to make it happen. It was a beautiful day and we made 117 contact's total. My camera battery died about ten minutes before we called the day. John had a 4 hour drive each way, so we only operated for about two hours. As you can tell from the reactions, Hunters were pleasantly surprised to get US-1776 on the 4th!

Thanks Frank! It made Johns day when you said you enjoyed his videos! We both always wonder if it’s worth the time and effort, but when someone says what you did it makes it all worth it. John will have more of our shenanigans in his video. He’s good at putting together more cinematic’s. 73!!

Very nice looking spot for POTA. And 1776 on July 4th. had to be a great day. Hope you stopped and picked up some BBQ on the way home.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I forgot all about the beginning of your side of the video. Heh....yeah....uhhhhh hehe. Dang it, Bobby! Man the new camera looks good and I think the DJI Mic 2s were winners! I loved doing that activation with you and can't wait until we find another one. .......now I need to hurry up and get my video up and my logs uploaded. 😇😬 73!
