Hi, thanks for the excellent review. Good demo of how to put the tool together, and how impressive it is in use. Just purchase one here in the UK for £59. I used to own the 20v version - it was a gift about six years ago - and it was terrible. Firstly, it came with a very similar looking battery that was not compatible with the 20v line of tools. The other main fault of the tool - apart from being totally gutless - was the little plastic pop-on blades. Well, they just kept flying off, and could barely make it through cobwebs. A real shame, as the other tools I've purchased from Lidl have been excellent. I'm looking forward to putting this one together and getting the edges of the garden cleaned up.

Thanks for review! By the way in France cost 80 euro(3 months ago) , and in Hellas 120 euros !

Nice review. Just a question: What type of camera do you use?

@TechGuru Andrew - which one is better: this or Parkside Cordless Multi Tool 40V PGKGA 40-LI B2 ? (I saw your both tests but no comparison - price difference ~20%)

Hello Andrew, I cannot help but like your accent. I've heard it many times on Greek ships when I was a service engineer 😅 are you also a seafarer or is that just how Greeks sound?

Lidl are selling this model but without the batteries. Can you buy the batteries from Lidl or do they come from the internet ?

Why did you not place all the rings on the cutter tool? In the manual it says you need to place the two rings above the cutter?

Exactly. Cutter, the larger one - that was ok. But then should the smaller one follow.

is it the same as with gasoline? Thanks

NO. Don't fall for that.

Does it worth 100 EUR? This is the price tag at Lidl.

Nice tool, but the trimmer line head is shitty as the knob in the middle wears off quickly and now I trie to find a replacement with metal button.

The trimmer line head has a thread of M10*1,0mm left hand direction. For example: Trimmer heads for the Stihl HS 55 fit.

DO NOT USE THE BLADE WITH THE GUARD! The guard is too flexible, and the blade cut the guard on first use while cutting brambles. Also my machine kept slowing down at full speed. Went straight back to Lidl on first day, sad.
@PuerRidcully

That slowing down is the "eco mode". it does that when it meets little resistance. It's pretty stupid feature. Either way, my unit broke after 5 minutes of use, lol. I hit some thick bush, it stopped the blade and blew the fuse in one of the batteries. Now it blows the fuse with every battery instantly, without even turning it on.

BEWARE & AVOID - I bought one of these Lidl Brush Cutters and it failed after 15 minute's use. I though it was the 4 Ah batteries going flat so I tried to recharge them, and in the meantime I put in a pair of 2 Ah batteries. They were both fully charged and nothing happened - the cutter wouldn't switch on. I then figured out the this cutter had an electrical fault on one docking socket and was blowing both the batteries. I lost 4 batteries worth over £100 when I figured out that they would not recharge and are now destroyed. There is no indication that the battery damage is happening, because it is happening instantaneously on fitting them into the cutter. I now need to sue Lidl for the cost of the batteries destroyed, which is far greater than the cost of the cutter. Lidl offered me £20 to go away. They said their Quality Control Department would get in touch - they never did. See you in the small claims court Lidl.

This black parkshit trimmer is no better than the green parkshit trimmer, is it? Different colour, slightly different shape, same smell.

Very disappointed. The guard is too flexible and the blade cut into the guard on first day. Yes everything put according to instructions. It also slows down constantly at full speed with 2 8ah smart batteries. Looks like you get what you pay for. 5 year guarantee but won't last 5 minutes in heavy work.

@@DogsOnAcid I'm on the 3rd one, mine is the green. The guard on this 3rd one didn't last 1h. The slow speed is so annoying. It simply doesn't get the job done. I can't understand why they went for that option instead of giving the user the control over the speed through the trigger. What pisses me off is I was warned to buy a petrol one, and I didn't.
@DogsOnAcid
@DogsOnAcid Год назад
@@zefautino you shouldn't run a petrol half speed, always full speed, or you will wear out the clutch etc! It would make more sense to have the battery one with variable speed on the trigger though, I agree. Also I found this trigger quite stiff and it was exhausting after half an hour I was swapping fingers. Oh well, you get what you pay for...
@zefautino
@zefautino Год назад
@@DogsOnAcid For the money I paid for the parkshit and batteries, I could have bought a decent petrol one and have money for petrol. I wander who is the type of people testing parkshit tools on pootube? Have they ever worked with DeWalt, Wurth, Milwaukee, Hilti... Or in this case, Stihl or Husqvarna? I understand it's not comparable, a drill or a disc grinder 10x cheaper can't be as good, but FFS, doesn't need to be such a piece of 💩. And people fall for the 5 year warranty... I'm on the 3rd one in less than a year, and that's because I don't use it much. My temper and patience suffer with this, and the work doesn't get done.

Too noisy tool and some parts are getting hot very fast, not convinced by this tool. Better chose a gas one.
