The pruners just came out in Slovakia, so I bought them for 55 euros. The built quality is good comparing to other Parkside products, very stiff plastic enclosure. I also like the trigger system which needs to be held through entire cutting, seems safe and more ergonomic than some second safety button system. Very useful for cutting large diameters, but do not replace manual pruners when you need precise and clean cut. Definitely saves your hand when you have a lot of trees to cut. Let's see how long it will last.
Another excellent review. You are always very fair when comparing different manufacturers. I guess the Parkside pruner is about 50 euros and the Bosch at least twice that!
I have the Bosch pruner, actually recently I bought another one for my wife, and she likes it. All I can say is that the bosch one is super efficient, and yes the 3000 cuts is achievable on a 2Ah battery. I have more 12v battery packs, and with the 3Ah one you can work all day,. Last year I tried with the bigger 6Ah battery, and after 3 days of intensive working the battery indicator showing 1 led. The cuts only in green wood, mostly 15-20mm. In hard wood I assume the numbers are lower. Maybe you have noticed a connector, near the battery on the bosch. From a Chinese video I understand that a special working gloves can be connected and if your fingers are close to the blades, the trigger is inhibited. Do you have any info on this? Maybe I am wrong. The Parkside one is very noisy atleast in this video, compared to the bosch. Keep up with this videos 👍👍👍👍
I would choose Parkside because cutting bigger stick is more practical for me but Bosch is lighter and handier. The battery is less important. I work in the garden for 2-3h.
Bosch cut twice faster then einhell and you can make more cuts. This comparison is good. Can you compare parkside with villager and einhell because they have similar price
I have a 1ha Oak (hard wood) plantation 4 y old...I the bosch pro pruner save my hands from blisters. I cut with one battery for more more than 8h per day + the speed, light -> I was impressed! But yes, on the expensive side...If you have few trees in your garden, then yes Parkside might be OK...
The Parkside DC motor seems to be the type used for model cars and planes.. Btw those pruners look pretty finger-unfriendly, easy to use by one hand, no trigger safety and have high torque..
I noticed you kept putting ther twigs near the end of the blades at bosch. It is certainly weaker there, because of leverage. Probably the opening is narrower, so need better and slower more careful positioning.
@@icku It would be also interesting for me. Maybe the other version will be released with brushless motor. Would be nice. I want to use the Parkside with 2 Ah battery the energy consumption is very important for me. As in the video shown, the 8 Ah smart battery was discharged with almost half!!! Too much energy to run the brushed motor.
It seems to me that the reviewer is aiming to make the Parkside pruner look better. At 10:30 he places a rose stem towards the FRONT of the BOSCH blades, but at 10:45 he places this stem towards the REAR of the PARKSIDE blades. He then goes on to repeat this in the same manner. As we all know, any scissor-like mechanism is more effective with the material placed far inside the jaws of the blades. So this looks like a rather sneakily biased ad for Parkside.
@@icku Yes. And it's there for all to see. At least, for those who care to notice. If you're confident it's a like-for-like comparison then fine, people will put credence in what you say and will ignore my comment.
@@bertharius9518 to me it looks like the Bosch has a narrower opening, in the video the stick is pushed in as far as it goes on both tools, for those who care to notice.
these are very similar to the Milwaukee as are many Parkside tools (guess same factory is selling to more than one brand), but theres others, RU-vid 'this old tony' just reviewed some other brand and they look better than the Milwaukee..
Bosch offers special gloves connected to the shears and when the blade touches the gloves it turns off the cutting process. But its impossible to find those gloves in stores :(
these are very similar to the Milwaukee as are many Parkside tools (guess same factory is selling to more than one brand), but theres others, RU-vid 'this old tony' just reviewed some other brand and they look better than the Milwaukee, they look similar in size/design to the bosch.. I guess Lidl isn't using the 'florabest' name for its gardening line anymore
Normally, the parents tool company has factories spread all over the globe, and they make tool only for themselves or other brands within the same company. Which is why I doubt that the same factory makes tools for 10 different brands. Example: Makita has 9 factories all over the globe and make tools only for Makita, no one else builds their tools for them or vice versa. This is 1 reason why I prefer their quality regardless of price or performance compared to other tool makers.
That Bosch has a 100% defective or weak battery. We have never had to cut the 3cm thickness more than once, but we did with Parkside. It seems to me like a "slightly tailored advertisement" in favor of Parkside.
The way you cut with the parkside is different from the Bosch. The stick is clearly not pushed to the end of the claw again and again when using the Bosch. So the comparison is not ok. The conclusion therefore is not right.
Parkside es suficientemente duradera para uso no profesional, si el uso será de varias horas y muchos días, entonces Bosch u otra marca de gama profesional, Makita acaba de sacar una en su gama CXT.
@@Avatarr3712 they give you a 3 year warranty on standard tools, and 5 years on Parkside Professional. Had one tool die after over a year of hard use, they just exchanged it for a new one, no questions asked. Took some time though since they were low on stock of that item. No warranty at all if you use them commercially though.
@@icku Only if you are complete idiot ,i have cut many branches and i still have all my fingers. . .But then again if you give a pen to a idiot it will find the way to hurt itself.
Parksides quality is so low lately that you never know what you get.10 bosch pruners will be same ,out of 10 parksides pruners 7 will be returned as defective or not working out of box.Thats why i stopped buying their tools ,its always lottery you never know what you get ,and they raised their prices so much(some tools went 30% in price) that i will rather buy better brand for a 1/4 of price more .Its simply not worthy anymore -they lost their main selling point -price,that made people close one eye when it comes to quality! There are stores full of their tools in my country that nobody buys.I just buy small things like sandpaper, rivet nuts, wood screws that are still cheaper than the hardware store bought .
You are totally right! Which country is yours, by the way? Because in my country is the same: full of with unsold Parkside tools. You can count it in m3 in the Lidl shops, which is unsold, not only dozens....
