I bought it for my power line in the wall, the tool gave no message, I drilled 3 times into the 230volt ooh my god....yes greatest shit that parkside lidl ever sold. its beebs on everything and not when it has to be. dangerous SHIT TOOL>

Hello! I also have this tool and it gives me mixed results. I mostly use it to find studs behind drywall. Upset with result, I decided to do something I never thought I would do: check the user manual. And there, it says that when searching for studs you need to move the tool along it's longitudinal axis, not like you showed in the video... (basically turn it 90°). Like you, I assumed that it would behave just like most of the other detectors on the market, but, according to the user manual, assumption is the mother of all fuckups. I'm now off to try how the detection works when I use the damn thing according to the user manual... Will come back with detail...

yes, how deep can it detect ? is it good for detecting metal pipes in the walls, or PPR ones? ( i donno how could detect PPR)

this tool is the greatest shit that parkside ever sold. behind real walls it can not detect anything properly. It doesn't do me any good if it tells me that, for example, a metal profile is somewhere within 2 meters. Because it is so imprecise, even showing AC power where there is no AC power, it is absolutely useless!

I bought it to try for 5/6 euros and can agree its complete rubbish. Does not find Live wires where they are supposed to and goes crazy when you are 30 cm of 😂 net very helpful when so imprecise.

Is this a legit information? I need to hang kitchen cabinets and the tool says I have AC there. The signal is somewhat inconsistent. Sometimes it shows there is AC, sometimes it does not. And there are really plugs lower on the wall but not sure on the spot I plan to drill where the tool shows inconsistent signals. How can I be sure?

@pixelbasedlifeforms you can't trust that device but if it measures something and there is a plug straight beneath it I would say logically there's a pipe in the wall. If you want to make a hole exact at that point just be realy carful, turn of that power group and drill bit by bit so you can look if your about to hit the pipe
