Are you that dumb, or you know nothing about volleyball? She is great at serving the ball, but there are others who are better on the front row. Parra is good on the front row, but Logan, Molly, Skinner are all better at the pins than she is. They also have more variety of shots than Parra. Plus, they are all better blockers. Also, there are other people on the team, too who need to play. Stop this foolishness and bitching anytime Parra is taken out of the game. Learn something about volleyball!

Fleck is very good, it is unfortunate we will only have her for one year. She is a super-senior with only one year of eligibility left. Can you imagine where Texas would have been if they had her from 2018?

Hello, im from the future. The coach sits her and does not give her play time. Occasionally, he will put her in every other game for like one play and well you can tell she's not as powerful and decisive as usual. i wonder if the other players will do as good if they would sit for two games only to come in for like 40seconds then bench for the next two.

One's playing time is direct correlation with what you do at practice relative to your teammates, and how well you perform when you get the opportunity to play. Also, several players on the team have suffered the same fate, where is your concern for those players?

She played at the international level & performed well… but the coach isn’t fazed by this or her potential, instead he treats her like “another kid out of High School”… YOU DON’T BENCH A GOOD PLAYER TOO LONG

@@clightning9703 , again, just because you play international ball doesn't translate to being good, per se. Like I said, a majority of her teammates have also played for their respective countries (and actually performed better and/or have same or better credentials) at the international level, so that point is mostly moot!. Parra is a good player, but the others are much better! Every objective person with a set of eyes and every statistic about it shows the validity of that statement. The coach is one who has WON National Championships, and so the invalid and factually wrong opinions of some random person named clightning9703 is the least of his problems! If you say Parra is a good player, which I agree, I say the others are better. I responded and gave evidence and reasons as to why she is not better than at least 8 players on the team. IF YOU ARE A GOOD PLAYER BUT HAVE BETTER TEAMMATES, THEN IT STANDS TO REASON THAT YOU SHOULD (AND WILL) BE BENCHED. It is not rocket science!

@@G--Mann she played 'fairly well' at the International level only because she was younger & still developing... which means if she had more playing time would have improved her skill level...[She led Texas with 60 service aces & set a program record with 0.61 aces per set]... She's a hitter, so her potential is clear. She contributed taking Texas to the Championship... is it "confidence" that Texas won a championship after 10 years when Parra enrolled?? ever think about that? no you don't... you just don't like her... and think she's, 'meehh'... 1) she hardly gets playing time 2) sh'e not used in the right position.. the LITTLE she played made an impact, so for you to say, "others are superior to her" is unacceptable. Parra needs to leave that red state, where there's ALOT of people like you.

Stop this foolishness about Parra, as if she is the only one on the team! Parra was not playing for stretches of the season, just like others have been benched. The nature of the team is such that some players play all the time, but most play some of the time. For example, Molly Phillips, who is a far superior attacker and blocker than Parra, did not play AT ALL in the Kansas game. You didn't see anyone out here crying about it. Some of you idiot Parra fans think she is the only player who gets benched; she is not. Even Eggleston and Fleck got benched before. Stop these foolish Parra insufferable takes!
