Based on the limited number of tests, it has been very stable and the connection range was good. FPV delay is there but acceptable. Beware that this may only support 2.4G connection. (which means not supporting 5G) I am still trying to get an official answer from Parrot

The controller has built-in battery itself. Parrot has a new power adaptor that charges both the bebop the the skc2 battery (with a different plug-in charge lead cable)
Sorry I don't know Spanish I used Google translator. The new SKC should be available at shop soon but I do not know the exact time. The recording video is 1080p normally. But it is 720p in FPV mode.
I've reached almost 3km under VERY IDEAL conditions, but one thing about the SC1 I don't like is the lack of an HDMI output for proper aftermarket FPV goggles. I wonder how I can utilize some Eachine or Fat Shark goggles.

As long as you fly 10m or more above the water it should be fine. Above 10m Bebop will use barometer and GPS for positioning and will ignore the terrain from the ground.
i got one myself i can never reach more than 800 meters at most! im in the country side flying over my town. i want to see if i can return it. other than that distance issue its great in every way
Over the town? Then I presume there will be wifi interference as every household has internet wifi router. That will shorten the range. How high did you fly? The higher the less interference. My 2km was achieved in an area with absolutely no interference and I flew 150m high.
Hi Ray, any idea how to extend the height limit from 150m (max to the end)? Also for the distance limit up to 2KM if drag to the end in setting, how to extend it? I noticed some ppl can fly more than 2KM and even 3KM, not sure how they can exceed the range limit in setting. Thanks!
Turn "Geo Fence" off in the settings then you can fly beyond 2km. For height the max is 150m. Someone said it can be exceeded but I don't know how. You may research it from other web sources.

My Skycontroller 1 does that tilt like that. Everything was better before all the updates. Jello effect on video and that Skycontroller is better only because the size and weight but... Too many issues for may taste. I miss the old simple Bebop without all that issues. And the phone or tablet is facing the sky on the older?? comon!
SKC1 is solid. But it is just too heavy and bulky for hiking. The phone mounting angel can be adjusted. The only thing I miss is the 5G support. SKC2 is 2.4G only (for now). Jello is B2 specific. B1 is a lot more stable. I hope this can be fixed in B3.
Hmm, I don't really have an accurate answer. There was a trip I used 5 batteries and the SK2 had sufficient power left that I have never had any worry.
hi Ray I have this controller and FPV with the Bebop 2 and Disco, 1 short problem, should the controller charge the iPhone battery, my flights are getting cut short as my battery in the phone is dying.. thanks in advance
- SC2 charges weakly android devices because they don't request too much current by defaut ; but il will not be poweful charge (at least it can help android tablet not to discharge too fast) . - Apple devices are not charged at all because they request too much current and that would impact SC2 autonomy. In all the cases (because android phones are not really high power charged and apple devices not charged at all) you need to fully charge your devices before getting out (or have a power bank with you)
Were you pointing the antenna to the bebop all the time? (you need to) Were you flying high like above 100m? (you need to) Is there any wifi interference? (better not)
Ray Leung ok ill admit im a beginner drone pilot. ive stayed within the green cone that displays on the app. most of the time ill keep it at about 130m to 150m high as a precaution to not hit trees anymore. only thing i can think of is wifi interface. which channel would you recommend having the drone set on. ive read around on forums and most say 6 is good, and others say just set to all so the drone auto picks the best channel. but even then, i was at the lake where there wasnt many wifi connections, i still lost connection. it just left me guessing. i appreciate you helping. ive seen many videos of people getting 2k to 4k range and it blows me away when i struggling to get 300m.
If you are sure there is no wifi interference but your bebop cannot go further than 300m then there may be a hardware problem with either your bebop or the SKC2. Have Parrot to check them for you.
haha, I would like to but first of all I need to have a Bebop 2 Power first. Anyway, I have not heard the Power version has any difference from the previous one other than the black color and the blue tail light.

Awesome buddy. Did you have any sort of Wi-Fi signal boosters/ range extenders in your sky controller 2? What kind of range can you expect vertically, I heard that you dont get the same range vertically like horizontally, how high did you fly without FPV Wi-Fi interference ? Sorry for asking so many questions , I am planning of buying a bebop 2 or power and I am looking for FPV range...
No I did not use any booster or made any modification. It was just the original sky controller 2. In the video when I did the range test I flew to max height 150m to achieve the best range. To be honest, Bebop using plain wifi signal is not good for very long range flight. But it is good for taking some casual travel video at the country side. Usually I took my video within 500m range there is really no need to travel very far away. You should decide based on exactly what you plan to do.

How high did you fly? You need to be above 70m in order to fly far away. Most importantly you need to make sure there is no wifi interference. You can get a wifi scanner on your smartphone to check
There are 2 possibilities: 1) very serious wifi interference at where you fly, 2) a defective antenna of the controller or the drone For 1), go somewhere at the country side where no interference and try again. If you still lose connection with short distance then it may suggest 2), which you need to ask Parrot to check
So, jetzt hab ich den Kontroller die ganze Nacht am Ladegerät gehabt und er blinkt immer noch rot-grün. In der Beschreibung steht, dass er nach 1std. 40 min. Voll ist. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass ich ihn noch länger dran Kassen sollte. Oder?

Blinking red/green continously (for a longer time duration than few seconds) indicates a problem which can be : - battery over/under temperature - battery disconnected - battery out of order (not charged after many hours) - other material problem (electronic issue) Except temperature cause or missing battery (or disconnected), it should be repaired. Charger should be verified too.
Are you referring to Sky controller 2? It is really easy. Just connect your phone to it with a USB cable. In Freeflight Pro app on the right top corner the controller icon should show a USB icon next to it if connected ok. Please describe your problem so I can advise
Ray Leung yes I'm talking about the controller 2 . Everytime I connect the the controller with my phone using USB cable , I don't see the USB coin appear on the right corner of my screen . It's just say there is no remote control connect .
