This is like a fritter, and yes you need some yogurt ranch dressing dipping sauce. Great snack food to make at a vineyard to enjoy with a bottle of wine.
Great receipe l have about 80 from our patch going to do several batches of these and freeze them .... think you need to just take off your old nail varnish though as you seem to touch them a lot through cooking ... but they do look lovely and l will be doing this receipe thank you ..
Thank you. I used to have a bowl set similar to that one; a light or medium blue. Things were sure different then. Adding the 2 hrs in the fridge firms the patties so they are supposed to be easier to work with; at least that's my understanding.
I have found just slice up the person lives after peeling so if Ryan Van cooking well until they are well browned with butter and have them with somewhere else that’s the way I like them
I like them roasted in the oven, they are lovely with christmas dinner. This is a recipe I can do usually I cant because we dont have the same products. Thanx Jenn they look yummy x
I made pierogies awhile back, with a mix of mild cheddar cheese and taco cheese instead of farmers cheese or ricotta cheese, and didn't have sour cream to eat them with so I used some french onion dip which was pretty good. It might be good with these. Thanks for the video
Jenn, I am salivating all over the computer. Those looked soooo good! I bet Sriracha and ranch dressing would be great with them. That is my go to dipping sauce at home, but it has to be the ranch dressing mix (powder by Hidden Valley) that you make with milk and mayo!!
the frying should be on VERY low heat, for a very long time. That way, the center of the patties cook too, instead of just coming out as they were when you made them into patties!
@@dprsp1 you mean you had cooked them before hand, and were just warming them up? Is so, i am sorry but I missed that. otherwise, a few minutes on high heat would burn the outside and leave the inside not even warm
Mmmmm.....I love parsnips....as you already know! I par boil them in a pan and then drain the water and fry those babies in butter. How can that not be good? Lol. I have parsnips in the fridge and will absolutely be trying these! Thanks Jenn!!!
Whatever you do dont bring parsnip burgers to the town of brighton. They prefer their burgers to be made of turnips. Watch DISNEY'S THE GHOST AND MOLLY MCGEE for more info regarding this
Where was a turnip? She used parsnips. Some say parsnips are healthier than potatoes. Do potatoes have calcuim; they say if I remember right that parsnips do have calcium. Whichever way, I hope the patties turn out tasty.
