Watched the entire thing. I've always been a fan of Al. This is fucking awesome though. We the people keep him going for a reason. He's funny and we love him. From everything I've ever heard he returns the sentiment. Thank you Al.
Erlyk Dalkien Same. I fell in love with him the very first time I saw White and Nerdy, but it wasn't until Mandatory Fun that I became a huge fan. I saw two of his concerts this year. It was the first time I ever saw one of my heroes in real life, and the feeling of shock I had the first time I saw him was the best feeling ever. Hope I get the honor of meeting him someday!
3:02 - So sad to know Al lost BOTH of his amazing parents on the same day due to carbon monoxide poisoning. At least it was in their sleep and was most likely painless. They were both so proud of their "Weird" son.
I wish The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame will induct him in 2011. I read in Rolling Stone the readers want him to be inducted. He ranked #1 out of 25 artists. Weird Al is such an original. Genius of parody music. I don't think anyone will top his legacy in my lifetime: Eat It, Smells Like Nirvana, White & Nerdy, Ebay, Another One Rides The Bus, etc. Most people are lucky to pick even one song as a favorite. Weird Al will always be cool to me.
Weird Al is just an amazing musician and singer who can make fun of any great or just strange song and he makes it sound better. I remember when he did White & Nerdy I just loved it!!! He's totally cool!!!
