Part 1 Black Hunter Longbow or Recurve 

I love my 35lb black hunter recurve bow, had it 4 days! Complete newbie and hitting bullseye already at 25feet. Never shot a proper bow before. I now need a bigger garden! I'm in UK so crappy outdoor areas. I shot a hundred arrows today. Already wanting a 45lb!!!

Low stretch (FF) strings - 3", Dacron- 4" because it will stretch more. That is for either LB or recurve.

Yes sir I really do like my long bow and eventually I would like to get the recurve limbs or if it’s cheap enough the entire bow. 👍🏼👍🏼

Just bought a Linkboy Black Hunter 60" 30# recurve and 60" 45# longbow, Specs indicate Toparchery brand. Both came with 145cm or 57" strings. The Black Hunter logo is silk screened on the side of both. No sound dampening or stringing aids were included. Will note that both the riser AND limb contact surfaces are felted the recurve groove is not. About $98 each shipped to US.

Great video, I've been looking at the longbow model for awhile now. I just need to wait a bit before I get another bow so the wifey doesn't get annoyed, haha. Going to be even longer because I want to purchase that Ben Pearson and a set of arrows from you first lol!

Great videos, have you ever tried the Nika 55% carbon ILF limbs? I hear good things about them but I am still on the fence by just a hair.

ive got a 57 in string on my longbow,56 on my recurve , 8 in brace on both

Is it true that some of these Black Hunter limbs are maple/glass composite and other (the better ones) are bamboo/glass composite?

Why a longbow stringer? You can just unstring the bow while keeping the loop on the limb..

I just ordered one in lefthand the quiver you use work on it or do you have to put it on upside down

How would you compare the mandarin devourer to the black hunter performance wise?

Why haven’t I seen a single review on these that mentions the bow length? Or how bow length is measured. After much research I’ll be goddamned if every website wasn’t awash in contradictory information! So, the longest “Black Hunter” recurve you can get is their 60 inch. Ok, what’s that mean? Well, depends on which archery website you visit! Are they measured strung? Unstrung? Straight measured from tip to tip? Measured following the contour of the limbs? According to measuring oneself for draw length to determine bow size anyone with a 28” - 30” draw length would be suggested a bow length of 66” - 70” freakin inches!!! Which would place the black hunter 60” bow in the children’s sized bow class! Yet, every review ANYWHERE is done by adults both men and women (that’s right there’s only two genders🙄) that seem to operate these bows without incident! Am I missing something? Does bow length not matter? I mean, if you’re draw length is 30” and your bow is marked 40 #s @ 28” and you’re drawing past 28” then you’re suddenly pulling 45 or 50 pounds instead of the 40 pounds at 28 inches the limbs were designed for! Someone? Anyone!?.... ya, apparently not because there ain’t a single review addressing this issue and every archer and their kindergarten teacher has reviewed this damn bow!😑
