I don’t know why, but i personally felt like Sia voices didn’t blend that well. Maybe it might be because I’ve heard the main version too often. And i was hoping to get a little more of her. But it’s ok.

The use of minor chords to give it a dark undertone and some of the lyrics in Filter make me feel like it's more a "reminder to fans that we only see the version of him we want to see" type of song than a love song. The lyric video was a bit off but lines like "you'll only be wanting me because you're the one who made me", the chorus and "we can be the new me" instead of "I can be the new me" sound a lot like he's reminding fans how we pick and choose the parts of him that fit the image of him that we've created in our heads. And all the "close your eyes" lines like he's referencing how fans turn a blind eye to any part of him that doesn't fit the idea of jimin that they fantasize about. Basically filtering out everything that doesn't fit our fantasy to pick a version of him that's attractive to us. If that is actually how he meant it it's really amusing how we're all doing with the song the exact same thing he's calling out. Choosing only to see the "flirty and sexy" side of the song because it fits our idea of him. Jimin reads people incredibly well and I'm pretty sure he knew fans wouldn't dig into the song for hidden meanings like they would with, say, rap line, for example, because we already have a filtered version of him in our heads and think we know him and what he would sing about. But I do honestly love how you don't have to read it like that and can just enjoy the song for its fun upbeat sound too. I can't wait for the choreo haha

I forgot to mention: you were talking about your reaction style here and I just wanted to say that that style is why I love watching your reactions! I like the way you listen to the songs, pause to give your (very interesting and deep thoughts) and then proceed. And that you're not over the top freaking out when you're watching lyrics videos, MVs, compilations, etc. Apart from the fact that 90% of the people who always "freak out" during reactions seem fake to me, it's also not something I vibe with in general. Girl, Jhope has natural Bass tone in his voice. which is rare for guys even with low tone of voice. He actually has natural low tone with natural bass talking voice. His pitch gets higher when he switch to his Sunny, oh so bright and energetic Hobi and when he go vibi'n with his Rap. but if you listen to His song "Base Line"and Hangsang you'd think it's a voice effects but it's actually his own voice tone. He did a live before on vlive and played some of his songs including BASE LINE and he rap-along while jamming with it and ISTG I felt personally attacked. btw, You should definitely Hear his Morning/Just woke up voice. Your ears will get eargasm. (LOL) (Watch their BON VOYAGE Seasons. especially in New Zealand.) ;)) Hobi's Low tone voice is different from Tae and Yoongi. Tae's sounded like a Big Man MAN kind of Low voice, while Yoongi's is Low yet very soft spoken. (I could literally listen to him talk all day long. actually, make that the whole Year! I don't mind at all!) as for Hobi, His sounded more like when a man gets serious kind of sound. like you know when they're getting pissed and starting to bring authority /DOM vibes... Yeah, THAT kind of sound! (I'm not even kidding)

Got7 are basically the Peacemakers of Kpop, they tend to scold both the fans and stupid interviewers about Kpop and Fans wars and shit. I should send you some interviews.

I'm so glad you appreciate their lyrics and what their message is in "Ugh" and gave your thoughts on it. I believe this was Suga's beat they used to rap to but I might be wrong about that. I love his vocal sounds and that part made me think of Interlude Shadow too. I'm finding these last 2 albums I'm having to let them sink in or ruminate on them more. My initial reaction to some of the tracks is not the same as how I feel now and some songs are still kind of growing on me. I'm not sure why exactly that is, maybe it's like sensory overload or something. Like this song was so hard that it hit me like a ton of bricks I was expecting it. But Interlude: Shadow might be my favorite song on the album though it's hard to choose.

As much as I would love for a group to address the fan wars, I feel like it wouldn’t make a difference. Especially if it’s bts, they would just get clowned by other fandoms like they do whenever they do pretty much anything else. BUT it would still be nice and show that these artists care about something like that. I know ridicule and hate has never stopped bts before.

the first time i heard louder than bomb without knowing the lyrics, i was balling.. my heart ached.. when BTS voices are together is heaven to me.. I love all the rap line's singing voices.. always did something to my heart.. the vocal line same when theirs voices together is magical.. i love all the song in this album.. my favorite of them all are louder than bomb, we are bulletproof the eternal, 00:00 o'clock. black swan, respect..ugh..

Louder than Bombs is amazing, it's so mysterious. I love every single song, this album became my number one favourite pretty fast. 😁 I am so excited for the rest of the album, can't wait 🤯

I think people are used to j-hope having/ using a brighter tone in his voice but due to this album being a little edgy and dark he’s switched to using a darker tone. I’m glad he did because it show his versatility and the darker tone fits the concept perfectly. Love your reaction btw 😊

In Filter, I think the song points more to the perception of the fans of him. What they see of him, could be cute, could be hunky etc. whatever a fan perceive of him. That's what i think 👍

When I read the tracklist for the first time I read "Filter" as "Flirter" and only after reading it a second time I saw that it's Filter. :D But then the album dropped and honestly... Flirter would've been a better name 😂 Or "Park Jimin ending ARMY with his flirting for 3 minutes straight" lol. I really like the song alot, it can be interpreted as something more serious, but I like the flirty vibe and like to stick with the flirty interpretation. And if we get a latin dance choreo.. Oh lord I'm not gonna survive the concert! And I'm totally with you: UGH better has a bomb ass dance break! Although I'm unsure if there will be a choreo in general, they should at least let Hobi do some moves at the end there 😍😍 And yes, "Louder than bombs" is so powerful. It was co-written by Troye Sivan.

Jungkook's My Time feels like a R&B track and I love it

Actually once Baekhyun said something like: ''ARMY and EXO-L are amazing both'' it was something for fans to hear that everything it's fine and I watched that on RU-vid and I was really proud of him that he said that. In my opinion these kpop groups as BTS, EXO, NCT and others are so respectful that they will never say 100% that they don't like fanwars because they don't want to upset fans even if it's their right to say it. I saw that so many times and I was so impressed. I mean they even say sorry sometimes for things they never did just for fans. Also they do things just for fans for example if you follow NCT on youtube you'll notice that they wake up so early or stay so late online just to show fans what they do. It's real and I love them so much for that, they're so modest even if they're on so high level. Fanwars are usually because of some people who start it by comparing them, but I've noticed something changed because when someone try now to compare these kpop groups there are many fans who say: ''STOP it's childish'' and I like it. I think everyone should respect these kpop groups because they work so hard to make us people who listen their music happy and give as a good vibe or even change our lives in better!

I feel like jimin is singing about how you get a crazier and cuter him by adding your own filter on him. I love how it's not like he is blaming us, and that he likes it, but it's not how he is and he hopes we know it too? Kind of song. To me. Like depending on how you want him to be, he can be a genie or aladdin. Whatever we want.

When I first heard louder than bombs, the first thing that came to mind was sirens. Like I felt their voices were just pulling me in. I’m so thankful for them and the music they are sharing with us.

This album is amazing! Haunting is definitely the perfect word to describe “Louder than Bombs”. “Louder than Bombs” and “Ugh” are my favorites. I didn’t even think about the fact that my name is jazmin when I listened to “Filter”. 😂

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the Sia collab. It wasn't about her singing on the track, though that was a bonus. It was about her co-composing (EDIT: I can't find my source about co-composing or remixing! booo. Please don't take this as fact. I'll be back if I find proof.) the song. ON *is* partly her song and she did it how she chose to. The feature track is a treat - not a weak link.

Yess, I've waited for this! :D Interesting to know: The Korean title of "My Time" does not translate into my time but into "time zone". I think Jungkook wants to say that he feels like he is living in a different time zone than his friends/ contemporaries because of being an idol - "everybody walks too fast" growing up normally and he feels like he is behind because he is busy, lives in a completely different world and is not able to do and enjoy things that people in his age usually do. And then it can be of course referencing the literal time zones - because they are always on the airplane traveling back and forth to different countries, so Kookie always in a different time zone than his friends. I mean, this must be super exhausting, for example traveling to the US and basically going back in time, suddenly being 11 hours (?) or so behind your friends who are in Korea, and then skipping hours ahead into the future when you travel back. I cannot imagine how that must feel all the time. Louder than Bombs. is. just. perfect. Omg it definitely is my favorite track on this album as well, I was so blown away 😍 I love how they play with silence despite the title and as you mentioned all these little noises in the background. And then Hobi's and Yoongi's eargasm voices 😍😂 Yoongi going all high-pitched with his voice (in Ugh) for a moment is something you will hear a lot from him. He is the master of playing with his voice, it's incredible how different he can make himself sound. And Hobi changing up his voice to sounding all low and laid-back in contrast to his usual energetic style of rapping is something he has done a couple of times in other songs and I love it 😍 This is why I love BTS's rap line so much, each one of them is extremely versatile in the style they can rap, they can switch up their voices and styles to match any type of genre. I can't wait for you to hear more of their older songs and especially more solo stuff by the rappers. Even if you don't really like rap, I know that there are a lot of things that you will appreciate 😊

The funny thing about Ugh is not only are the addressing the hate this time, but they're specifically calling out the faux anger that's so common. Where people just look for things to be angry about and hate them for, even if it's not genuinely something they would care about or hate otherwise. That type of hate is even more frustrating than genuine anger, because it's hypocritical and there's literally nothing they can do to make those people happy, because they just find a new ridiculous thing to be mad about no matter what they do.

I knew you would love Filter and right it has like a Latin vibe and if we see him do Latin dancing, good lord; last year we said Jimin could pull off latin dancing and now he gives us a song that has a latin vibe 😂

It's not love that these "fans" have for these groups ,it's a toxic obsession that leads to jealously and unneeded "protectiveness". It's sad, I love ALL of these groups because I can admire what each individual puts into them, all the hard work and talent to be put down the drain from an obsession "fan" of another group. I absolutely agree with you on the fan wars. I think it's completely unnecessary. Every group is not the same, so people should stop comparing. Like my parents told me, 'if you nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.' What these people are doing is, that claim themselves as fans who love them, are hurting other people with their words. There is a song that reminds me of My Time it's BTS Jungkook - Working (일하는중) (Yanghwa BRDG Cover). It's about a son asking his father where he is and he always said I'm Working and now he's older and when mom asks where is he says I'm Working. JK has been working nonstop. "Ugh" really spoke to me bc I am really really sick since a week (and i hate having no control over my body), so i got more and more angry to the point i just wanted to lash out verbally at anyone crossing my path. everything triggered me and i even lashed out at my friends. But while hearing "UGH" i realized that i was just the biggest A-hole , bc i had no justification to bash my friends for being hyped about the comeback or just being happy. I understood the message of the song and idk, it was like the Rapline slapped me in the face, scolding me for my behavior. I profoundly apologized to my friends and we're all good now. Shadow. Yoongi uses that a lot, where it sounds like he was speaking from two different perspectives. The extra verse was his shadow speaking to him. You can also see this style in his First Love (Wings Album). He can make a clear distinction between the two perspectives just by with his voice and emotion.

I really like Jungkook's song ''My time'' his voice is so beautiful and clear and he raps which make me happy. I missed Jungkook rap! I mean so much happened to bts in the past and in nov 2018 too...but no one said a single thing and bts still gets hate from locals,youtubers,kpop stans,western stans and the list goes on...sometimes I sit back and think why th fk people hate them??...what the fk did they do to all of these edgy weirdos?? I'm not sure if anyone has said this already. I thought Louder than Bombs sounded like a music box, sometimes they have a mysterious/eerie sound to them. The little sounds in the background reminded me of when you turn a key or wind-up part of a music box and then it plays the melody. Like those ballerina ones or doll-like/puppets. So I am going to say it again. *louder than bombs* is a masterpiece it is 100% the song that flopped me up and I was like nope I am getting in to BTS that was the song. I think they didn’t blend sia’s voice well into this track... maybe she could’ve sounded better if they fixed it up a bit. I think I can kinda see her doing the na na na part a bit. But her voice sounded a lot obviously louder than the instrumental so it was off. Almost like she was doing karaoke over the track. I wish Normani did this track with them. She would’ve danced amazingly with it and her voice suits this track

Even though a lot of people hated it, I honestly think the collab with Nicki Minaj worked the best with BTS. Instead of her taking a verse from one of the boys in Idol, she just sung a new one and they added it in. I wish they could have done that with Halsey and Sia.
