I have seen some complain about accuracy with the gps but I have found the watch to be very accurate for getting you where you need to go. I did two real world tests and the watch guided me back to my point no issue. I think a lot of the complainers have an unrealistic view of the purpose of this watch. Thanks for the video.
@@ModernandVintageWatches Multumesc! WatchUP69 Mr Rangeman are iarasi niste review-uri f misto...
Yes, defenetely. It's big and pricey it's all you need to worry about. Big but comfortable. You can buy it as a survival tool if you go in any adventure or as a investment. Let me know what you will do.
@@ModernandVintageWatches thanks for your reply now I'm definitely getting it now. your write it is expensive but after watching your review I'm getting it next week could you tell me if you keep the GPS on all the time do you have to charge it alot?
@@Maintenance48 You can keep GPS on only in navigation mode but in this instance in about 30 hours the battery will be dead. For heavy GPS usage you will need additional charge using the wireless kit, for a normal use the solar charge should be enough. If you dont use the watch as intended - suvival tool - just put it in 'airplane mode' to save even more battery life out of it.
Garmin instinct has much better trackback options in Straight Line or As We Walked. And it looks much better graphically and performance in Garmin Instinct
Not the same purpose though. The Rangeman is a survival tool, not a navigation tool. Sure the software part could have been leveled up but that's what it is. Anyhow, the G-shock has the ability to use bearings with the compass. The instinct doesn't.
Hi there. Just a question, can you upload gpx map data through the phone to the watch? I like hiking, and I usually upload the gpx of my hike to wikiloc or outdoor active on my smartphone. Is it possible to send these details to the watch and use it to navigate in nature and maybe look less at my smartphones screen? Thank you
