Its a good video, but needs to be updated. The newer kits come with parts which the older ones didn't. The new kits don't have a toggle switch, they have a better updown button control, they also come with a saftey prop, a circuit breaker, rear scissor support braket, and a pump mounting L bracket. I believe it also comes with guide brakets to guide the dump body down. Plus they don't mention this is a power up, gravity down hydraulic motor. The wiring differs. In general it would be nice to see a updated video.
the only tipping gear to use is "Harsch Ind." . You did a great job however, it would be a lot easier to make a sub frame and mount your hinges and hoist to it. Then you can weld a pintle plate to the truck chassis so you can tow safely. We do custom tipping beds on all kinds of trucks 1 tons and up. my only concern no place to have a pintle plate.
