literally thank you for this. i never comment on anything but i could literally not find a tutorial like this! shout out to you. and thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!
Thanks. The main thing with this style is to take the ideas and adapt them how you like. Try ponchos, wraps, add sleeves, use different stitches, yarn weights and hook sizes. Explore, experiment and have fun!
Great video! Easy to understand, and I have yet to see anything else like this on youtube. This is an excellent way to make unique clothing and to express your individuality.
Thanks Mary - I hope you have fun exploring the technique! It's obviously very adaptable and also lends itself to finer yarn and smaller hooks. You can also include a greater array of stitches.
What?! You mean we don’t have to follow any rules or patterns if we don’t want? We can just wing it and crochet anything our heart ❤️ desires. This is awesome news.
Thank you so much for this !! You seem very sweet and genuine and this is exactly what I've been looking for! I love this style but I've never been able to decipher how to do it so thank you thank you!!!!!
This is such a great way to use scraps. Some barrel knots on the loose tails would give a nice beaded look. Just do 5 to 7 overhand knots all at once and gently pull into a knot.
Wow!!! Thank you so much for this video I’ve started crocheting and kept seeing this exact style and I fell in love with it. I’m glad I came across your video it was extremely helpful and your project is beautiful!
I mainly pick up interesting yarn from op shops (thrift shops), yarn swaps etc. I rarely buy it new. I've built up quite a stash over the years so never short of starting material!
Hi Leah - I've been trying to see the label and I think it is Moda Vera Beauty: www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/moda-vera-beauty. I get most of my yarn from op shops and often they don't even have labels. I find part of the fun is to pick up balls you like and combine them in interesting ways. I hope you find something good out there in yarn land. I'd love to see what you make if you'd like to share. Have fun!
