Gentlemen when you go by rock to get married here’s some advice the force is cut clarity color and something else but most people get hung up on the quality and you spend a lot of money to get a VS one which means very slightly included as compared to an SI one or an SI two which means slightly included in other words there’s a little imperfection in the diamond but neither are visible to the naked eye and I promise you your woman, and her friends they’re going to look at the following things… How big the rock is how sparkly the rock is and if the color is nice so you want a good color D E or F…. D is the best but that’s not necessary E or F is just fine and they’re a little bit cheaper…. And the cut. This is where it helps to have somebody that knows something about diamonds because everything looks sparkly under the lights of the diamond store but a properly cut stone even if it’s a crappy diamond can look far better than a nicer diamond that’s cut poorly it’s all about geometry and how the light will reflect out of the rock and so many guys spend a lot of money and then they tell her girlfriend oh it’s only you know verse one blah blah blah and they could care less about that they just wanted to look pretty to look big enough they’re not embarrassed and to look nice so that they’re proud to wear it very girl there’s some free tips…. Oh yes and try to use a diamond broker where you can go look at 50 or 100 rocks you pay just for the rock and then you can take it and go get a setting and have a put together. A bit of caution on that. When I took my diamond to have it set, the guy actually said do you want to go with the diamond and I said yes and so he gave it back to me and I held it so I couldn’t say that I got switched and then we went to this back room where it appeared about 15 Iranian guys were in there smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee and having a grand old time but one of them got up and the guy told him what I was looking for he showed me some settings I picked one out and then he cleared off a desk so there was literally nothing on it but his tools and something to hold the setting nothing else and he said OK you put your stone right here and I did and he said now you sit down and you watch the stone and you watch my hands my hands will always be above the table in front of you I’m gonna put the stone in the setting I’m gonna set it for you and then I’m gonna hand it to you and that’s exactly what he did I’m guessing they had people complain before that they got it switched so I thought it was pretty cool they did it that way but in a lot of places they don’t do that and they do switch it and you don’t want that don’t be afraid to be aggressive and assertive it’s your money it’s your stuff take a bit like this if I asked to borrow your car even if it wasn’t that nice a car it’s still your only car you would just say oh sure go ahead and take it you’d wanna know how it was going to be used etc.
Love this lady also love that she is the godmother of diamonds. I hope to one day being able to buy something from her. She is honest and pure business with her is what we see from her at all times.
