Mass Spectrometry is appropriate word. But both are used interchangeably. Technique is same.

Sir, How are the ions like C2H5+, C3H7+ ions formed when we have a NeoPentane(where we see only CH3 groups attached to a quaternary carbon. My question is whether MS can't distinguish NeoPentane and IsoPentane?

MS can't distinguish because only m/z is determined by MS.

Mass Spectrometry is the appropriate term because in Mass Spectrometry Electromagnetic radiation is not used.

Please see the pinned comment. Both are correct but Spectrometry is the appropriate word in case of MS. Please consider Spectroscopy as Spectrometry in case of MS.
