I stumbled across your video and am happy to see what you're doing ! Great stuff !! I just want to share a bit of my experience please. Im about to build my seventh plywood tank. I recently had a 1210g system running flawlessly for nearly 4 1/2 years. I just downsized to a 450g build for less energy and water costs. I cut all my wood so that, all machine edges come together, for tight fit. Other cuts, that I make, can be at top of tank edges where the slightest bit off doesnt play a key role. Agree with pilot holes and glue, then screwing. Ive done Pond Armor coatings with silicon added to seams as well as fiberglass edges. Both work perfectly.. On tight edges, the Pond Armor makes an excellent coating that completely fills the edges, seams, well. I also like to have my measurements in hand when purchasing my 1"furniture grade plywood. Th lumber yard can cut to exact size, the plywood your buying. Makes perfect edges that way. I sub'd to you.. Come on over to my channel and leave me a sub and comment.. Thanks

You need a 2x4 frame , that plywood will not hold the 300 gallons

Yep and he should of drilled pilot holes for the screws so it didn't crack the plywood so bad, not to mention the un even cuts.

Like how you want it to be right , if it means buying some thicker ply , and starting again I would do it . Respect from the UK 🇬🇧🙏.

I'd do 1" hardwood, something like birch just to be safe.. Remember, 300 gallons of water is what? Over 2000 lbs of water. Don't cheap out. When it comes to your seems or corners, I'd use fiber glass strips, then epoxy over it all, more than 5 coats. It's either that or come home and your fish are on dry land

Looks good for a first build! Next time use a table saw or a circular saw to cut the plywood for more straight cuts, and pre drill pilot holes in the side of the plywood where the screws put the tank together before gluing and screwing to avoid the cracks,
