Only real OG'S know this was originally from the book A return to love: Reflections on the principles of a course in miracles by Ms Marianne Williamson but I hear you I have shown as many people as I can that film so powerful
Your video popped up for as I might be interested in and after hearing your speech and Maya Angelou ( I miss her wisdom) and with the message in your song about rising above those who get pleasure out of hurting with words, this is a good song to sing to oneself when the tape of other hurtful words state to play in one's head, including my own. Music is such a powerful tool to lift oneself up. I know this was directed at teens but it applies to anyone of any age who is trying to heal from mental abuse. I hope you post more. You have a nice strong singing voice. I hope you continue to use it for the better. Great message by that way. Thanks!
Thank you so much for your feedback and your honesty. I'm so glad to hear that the presentation was helpful and uplifting. There is a second part, in case you didn't already see this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ej4UHaM7yg8.html
I have absolutely no idea who 'Coach Carter' is, but thank you for bringing him/her to my attention because now I can Google them and see what I've been missing. No doubt this coach has lots they could teach me, as I'm by no means an expert on this subject, or any subject for that matter. I based this talk around my own personal experiences with trying to overcome fear, as well as Marianne Williamson's incredibly inspired words. As for getting out, trust me I would LOVE to, but here in Europe we're still in a pretty strict lockdown so sadly I'm having to stay in much more than I'd like to. (Now THAT is material for a whole new talk on the subject of fear, that I dare say many of us now could profess to be experts on! Haha)
