I personally feel that sleep token is a glorious rebirth of soul. As weird as it sounds. Vessel puts his very being into every song. And the lyrics are so emotional the meanings behind each track can be extremely deep. Then the seamingly beautiful ease that the songs move between genres is a masterful display of musical talent and understanding of craft. For a band to emerge the way they have with such presence is truly incredible. And just his voice and the performance alone is enough to make me a life time fan

I LOVE this album, it’s my favorite. Every song to me is good. The whole album is so melancholy, very bitter sweet to me. I listen to it on repeat 😅

ii talks about Abe Cunningham the drummer from deftones being an influence on him and I can definitely tell and hear deftones through out sleep tokens music. If anyone brings loathe into this who do you think influenced loathe? That would be Deftones again lol.

TPWBYT is an album that many consider one of their best. It has so many songs that showcase not only the depth of their musical talents (like all the others) but lyrically it’s just so deep and powerful. Many people prefer this album to Sundowning, and the more I listen to it the more I agree. Sleep Token are just GODS and we are not worthy to listen to this epic musical band Just wait till you do the special for II with Drumeo and you see these songs performed, you will cream 😁 don’t worry we all did too #WORSHIP

Yes! It's a coin flip between Sundowning and TMBTE for me most days, because of the tracks you mentioned, but TMBTE has such a presence it's like naming your favourite child. The EPs are also fantastic. I've just playlisted the 'f' out of all their material, which is a happy medium.

I have the same experience. Sundowning is the record I consistently return to, tho I’m not sure I can decide which record is my favorite. All just masterpieces

ST is also my new favorite obsession, I only found them a few weeks back because Bad Omen mentioned them in an interview and I have been non-stop listening to everything I can find. ALL the songs are just so amazing! I couldn't believe they are coming to Quebec and it wasn't sold out yet. I can't wait to see them live in May. WORSHIP!

This was the first Sleep Token album I heard and it blew me away. This band can do no wrong and can make any style work. The future of the muaic indistry is this - not being confined to genres

I can't help but comment again as I watch through. Vessel is nearly a one-man band. Everything except drums is his. And how is it that we have a mutual response to Sugar -- It's uncanny. It really is too bad the show you are attending is on the 28th, and I am on the 27th. I can only imagine your response to the show. I know, for the very first time in my life, I will probably lose my emotional sh*t at this show because of not knowing what they will play, how long the show will be, etc. I do not think I have ever had a deeper-than-usual connection to a band like I do with ST. It is severely uncanny and embarrassing. But...I do not care. ST's music is soul-hitting and dare I say it, truly life-changing.

I can't wait until you're able to check out the full Drumeo video! You will lose your entire mind over it.

Idd, totally agree, there's something odd and otherworldly about this band. Overall execution and songwriting are exceptional together with Vessel's unique vocal, emotional delivery and II's insane drum skills.. can't wait for what comes next for this insane band 😮😍😍😍. Worship 🙏🏻

This is my favorite album by Sleep Token as it stands right now. I love every single song the have put out though so I switch around. Vore is my #1 and Descending is my #2 favorite songs right now. My daughter and I are going to see them in May and we are literally counting down the days. ❤

(+ II did say his drumming is also influenced by gospel and we can definitely hear this kind of incluences in Vessel's singing/art too) hahaha, i'm totally fine with worshipping a band too 😂 I can't WAIT for you to see them live, you're going to have the time of your life, I can promise you that.

In the full Drumeo interview that ii did, he said his drumming is heavily influened by gospel drummers.

I don’t believe “worship” means the same thing for church and for Sleep Token. I believe for the band it is an appreciation.

I like this album a lot, but I’d say it’s my least favorite of the three. Hypnosis and The Love You Want are my favs. The drummer said that he was influenced by gospel style drummers. So I bet Vessel takes influence from gospel music too 🤷🏻‍♂️ Sometimes I get the feeling he was a worship leader before he started doing the Sleep Token thing. I could be dead wrong tho
