I like the treatment you painted on for the windshield. The headliner in both cars are outstanding and the sun visors came out great.

Thank you for bringing these old cars back to life. My first car was a 1970 Dodge charger in 1974 3.91 sure grip manual valve body 727 that would chirp the tires going into 3rd and would spit the drive shaft out if you used u joints with zerk fitting.Fun car, lot of tickets and lots of tires.

I'm a fellow mopar man from the early seventies. I had a 69 Dart GTS 340 , which I traded plus $500 for a hemi R/T charger with a four speed. Back then that Charger would have sold for $3500 brand new. It had a optional B&M straight gate shifter and a racer brown cam . Unfortunately I sold it after about one year. You seem to be talented at what you do, so carry on. I live up in Canada.

I can’t believe you have two 1969 chargers, I only have a 1972 charger and it eats my money.

I really like that it's going to be a tow vehicle for another '69 Charger! You mentioned previously that you're building a drop-in replacement suspension setup for the car. Are you going to be doing anything special to accommodate pulling a car trailer such as rear air shocks, trailer brake controller, extra spring leaves, etc. or are you keeping it closer to stock? Either way, it'll be an awesome sight!

OK I understand now... With all these Twin Turbo, you want Tina & Daisy being on Fast & Furious 9 set... Daisy being the "The Evil" and Tina "The good" car... Good idea.. 🤣

Nice work! Takes a lot of skill to get that far into it. I'd hope to see the Turquoise one left original equipment patina. What thickness of Dynamat are you using for the floor? I am going to use that on my mopar as well.

That’s gonna be one bitching ride when you get it on the road! Best part you don’t have to worry about it getting scratched, rock chips, or racking miles on it!

I had one also. It was a barn find back in '73. A woman sold it to me for $75. It had black lacquer paint with a vinyl top and red interior. The air was so cold I had to turn it off half of the time. The stereo sounded mellow too.

Nice! I bought mine back in '95 from the original owner for $250. 383, red with black vinyl top and black interior.
@charleswillsonpeale5739
@charleswillsonpeale5739 6 лет назад
Sounds slick. Oh, yes mine had the black vinyl top 383, 2 bbl carb. 3-spd Torqueflite auto tranny, (column shift no push button) w/full power option package. It was a huge car. I later down traded for a 65 Chevy SS Impala. One I let go of but wish I didn't.

Here's a lifesaver for you color matching & save you money on paint. Check out a website called Automotive Touch up dot com. They are located in Tenn, they color from the Vin code. I had order 2oz touchup paint & clear coat for my step dad 2014 F150 ecoboot the bright lightning ford blue just the typical Ford blue my younger brother scratched the bed. But, the touch up paint matched it perfectly. Just needs buffer but it matched. This is identical paint to DuPont-duplicolor, it's just labeled automotive touch up. I believe most body shops order their paint from here. You can get old Mopar colors to modern, this was best place I found from other enthusiasts for repainting entire car. Other car people may want check this place out also. I do know for a fact the Car-Quest uses the exact paint from this Automotive Touch up shop. Because, when I asked them for touch up paint for this 14' F150 they flipped through the Automotive Touch up DuPont catalog. They were gonna charge same price for not even a pint size. So, I just went bought it direct from them saved a butt load of money.
