PART 2: A CSB Fresh Perspective 

Just discovered your channel while looking for some of Tim’s past comments on the CSB. Really enjoyed both parts one and two…looking forward to part three! So, I’ve subscribed!! One of the things you did so well was to let Tim talk! So many interviewers butt in too often when the purpose of having a guest, should be to let them talk and answer your questions without endless interruptions or comments! It’s always refreshing to hear an interviewer not be more concerned with his own opinions! Nice job asking questions and then actually listening!👍

Joe, thanks for sharing these two videos with Tim...I'm going to start reading from the CSB. Love hearing these types of discussions.

Note: The older edition of the NLT actually says, "God loved the world so much." I didn't have one in front of me in this video. What the older edition says, though, still sounds more like the traditional wording than the "God loved the world in this way" of the newer editions.

I just bought a very nice personal size CSB, and find it awesome even tho I'm TR- Masoretic only, but I love how every single verse missing or every word different is repeated in the footnotes

I love hearing Tim schill the CSB! Gives me a ton of confidence in the translation and makes me excited to read it.

I’m really liking the CSB as well , I use it now in tandem with the NASB and ESV

I’ll have to look into the critical text more. It always seemed a little strange these scriptures were found in a place where the early Christian church or apostles didn’t appear
