Talal Asad’s father Muhammad Asad Wrote the magnificent autobiography entitled “Road to Mecca.” However, Asad’s magnum opus his translation of the Quran called the Glorious Quran. Asad was born in 1900 as an Austro-Hungarian Jew, and he converted to Islam when he was 26 years old. Asad did his Quran translation in Srinagar, Kashmir. Asad was also Pakistan’s representative to the United Nations.

Sir, have you read the book called "كتاب تفصيل النشأتين وتحصيل السعادتين" (A Detailing of the Two Creations and the Attainment of the Two Happinesses) by Al-Raghib al-Isfahani? It is in Arabic, and there is also an English translation. Hamza Yusuf has also made a series of sessions on it titled "Self Knowledge: Toward a Quranic Anthropology." @@_titanslayer_ great, it all started when Uzma Rumi made a video about Imam Ghazali then Qaiser Ahmed Raja responded then came Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza and others and it all got complicated. It would be great if you watch their videos then build a counter narrative.
