Ateez is kpop boy band formed by KQ Entertainment. The group consists of eight members: who debuted on October 24, 2018. You guys love Ateez and now I do too! I have never seen so many comments recommending a Kpop group like this it was actually ridiculous!! However, as someone who is very musically inclined, I found this group to be one of the best I’ve heard so far. THEY DESERVE THE HYPE! They can dance, they can rap, they CAN SING so so well, and do it all live. One of my favorite groups so far! I have been listening to their music non stop since making this video.

I have always said ATEEZ is THAT group. They have it all. Vocals ✅ Dance ✅ Stage Presence ✅ AND they’re funny af too. We need more appreciation for Ateez 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I’ve seen them live 3 times and their concerts are the best. Thanks for checking them out 🫶🏼

It just shows you how unfair kpop can be when such a talented group doesn't get the recognition they deserve just because they are not from the Big 3/4 companies. Honestly there is so much underrated talent out there if people are willing to check out groups from other entertainment companies as well as Hybe, YG, SM & JYP.

Turbulence only had 1 million views because it was on the show It's Live (It's Live always blocks but I'm glad you watched it because they slayed). The actual MV has 30M views--I highly recommend because it was released during the pandemic, and the lyrics are beautiful. Their most recent song, Bouncy, got 100M views in about 3 months, so people are starting to figure out what they're missing. Their youngest, Jongho, is widely considered the best male vocalist of the 4th gen. (watch his cover of Wildflower or So You). Very few groups are better live than in studio and ATEEZ is one of them. BTW, they say ATEEZ present at the beginning of Say My Name if you want to hear them pronounce it, but it's the letter name A plus tease. As they say in the song, it stands for A to Z as in they have it all. Thank you so much for reacting to ATEEZ! ❤

I often wonder why ATEEZ is so underrated. Their music is amazing. However, they are the first idol group that their company KQ ent has developed/promoted and that might not have happened at all if it hadn’t been for Hongjoong sending them a sample of his work. I think Hongjoong is a big reason why they have ‘their sound’ and it’s been consistent since they debuted. I hope 2024 is the year they ‘take off’ but part of me enjoys being part of a small fandom that really appreciates their genius.

ATEEZ is my all-time favorite group. The name is pronounced like ay-tease. The member who you asked was rapping in the second video was Mingi. He was on hiatus during the filming of the MV so he's not in it. The members are Yunho (11:29), San (11:34), Wooyoung (11:41), Yeosang (11:47), Seonghwa (11:53), Jongho (12:13) (these members are the vocalists), Hongjoong (12:30) (you mentioned in the first part was your favorite of the two rappers aka the one with the mullet in Say My Name), and Mingi (12:43) (the rappers). They have a pirate concept/storyline throughout their MVs and at the end of each one there is a teaser for the next song or album. Their fans are called ATINY which is a combination of ATEEZ and Destiny. They debuted in 2018 under KQ Entertainment with the songs Pirate King and Treasure. Mingi is my bias and Yeosang is my bias wrecker. Hope you continue to check them out!

And coming from someone who’s been into K-pop since my teenage years my first group I listen to was Soulstar and I am 51 years old and I still love K-pop and that is the only music that I listen to. I don’t listen to American music anymore so when I see a group come out and I hear them I literally can tell if they’re gonna be big or not, same thing happened with BTS nobody was listening to BTS. I watched him from the beginning when they were starting out and I knew they were gonna be big and I follow them until they blew up but then I started looking for another group and that’s when ateez came along, grabbed my heart and knocked me off my feet. God bless these boys and their voice and their talent.

Quickest members to identify for you: - Hongjoong, "the boy w the mullet", small in size, big in charisma, captain (leader) of the band, fast rapper. - Mingi, the low tone rapper, stunning man - he was on hiatus during the 4th song they put his verse "on the radio" in the video, which is why you were asking who's rapping (@17:35). - Jongho, the high note slayer, and also the youngest. I could do everyone bt im trying to keep it short(ish) 😅. Have fun finding out abt our 5 other talented members. I see Ateez, I watch, I like hehe 😊 love them so much and yes they do deserve more views and recognition. I actually only discovered them thru a kpop group competiton show thing. I thought that was because I'm just not into kpop in general b4 them. Then I found out that they're not as big as they should be and it's crazy because they're so good. I literally don't have one Ateez song that I don't like. Even their bsides are amazing.

That’s the same comment that everybody says is how come they don’t have more views they are so amazing with their dancing. They’re singing their stage presents they’re performances like it is top-notch. I think a lot of people are still stuck on older groups always tell everyone give them a try you won’t be disappointed and every single time they tell me they’ve been missing out because they should’ve discovered them sooner. I’m glad that you did. I enjoyed your video. Thank you for reacting to ATEEZ, they are well known in the Kpop community, yet I agree still an underdog when you compare MV view, streaming, and awards. I am glad you picked up on this only after a few songs and you haven't even heard their b-sides, or all of their title tracks. They are having a comeback on December 1st. Also I don't know if you noticed but they are telling a large and complex story with all of their songs and music videos. If you wan a know more about the main vocals journey as a vocalist then I suggest watching / reacting to LEE MUJIN SERVICE : CHOI JONGHO ! He opens up with a small part of their own song and then gives us 2 beautiful solo covers while talking about his vocal training and trainee to idol life as intermissions and a spectacular duet with the show host to end it off. Even if you don’t react to it, it’s such a perfect worth watch.

Ateez are just So Good and perfect. You should watch them perform live, even if it's just in your own time to avoid copyright issues, because their live performances are LEGENDARY. Their stage presence is unreal. I recommend watching a live performance of Hala Hala, and also their stages on the show Kingdom. Also their 2019 MAMA stage was iconic On Kingdom they had collab stages with Stray Kids and another group called BTOB and honestly all of those are also iconic, highly recommended

Love Ateez- they built their own company to now having juniors within 5 years. Their backstory of how they were all connected before debut w/o knowing each other is insane. Never seen a group actually destined for one another the way they are.

@@furuyakeifu San and jongho are from the same family clan, hongjoong is the reason Ateez is a group- KQ didn’t have any plans to debut a new group after 2nd gen block b since they were going into debt, seonghwa only stayed in KQ because he heard of a story about a young boy who wrote a letter to KQ to pursue his dreams of being an artist who never gave up and kept pushing forward- he didn’t know at the time, but the boy was hongjoong, 5/8 of them were in the same competition months before knowing eo. There might be more connections, but this was off the top of my head.

Aren't they incredible? I'm worried that you're not watching with closed captioning on until Halazia? Wasn't sure if it wasn't showing on the video playback, or if you didn't have it on. It's realllly helpful to understand what's actually being said, and lets you sing along with the stuff that's not translated (like bul-no-ri-ya, playing with fire/fireworks). You'll love to see their dance practices, and they're well-known for the intensity of their live performances. They're _incredible_ on stage. They usually have ending sequences which have to do with the lore that weaves throughout all their videos. The Turbulence video isn't the original, as others have mentioned, but it's wellll worth watching because it helps to understand that they are ALL all-arounders -- singers, rappers, dancers, performers. They are 5 years old, and they've got a bright future ahead. They have a comeback December 1st. In the meantime, catch up with Guerrilla (came out before Halazia), and their most recent, Bouncy, which will blow your mind. Welcome to the rabbit hole! Glad you enjoyed them, now you know why we're such proud fans.

The thing with ateez is that their song is very segmented (not really general population-friendly) and the Korean public is not looking beyond big agency groups. That's why ateez is way more popular overseas than they do in Korea.

As an Atiny from the very beginning (a bit more than 5 years now) there isn’t a single song I thought was « okay », they always do the best they can and didn’t change who they are even when it was a difficult period, they stayed true to who they were. I really liked the way you acknowledged their amazing music videos because they didnt actually have much budget at first like you said but rather started from the very bottom from an unknown company that was really in debt to debut them but as time goes on you get to see their budget increase as they get more famous and i just think it is so inspiring because you get to see that not only are they extremely talented but so determined and hard working, i just love seeing them grow 😭 they are one of the biggest 4th gen groups without coming from a big3/4 company and i just think they deserve so much love and admiration as they truly did rise from the very bottom, thanks for giving them a chance

28:53 He does have an amazing voice and would you believe people in school didn’t like his voice but he loved singing so trained hard and literally became the best in the industry as his vocal teacher(a professional in the kpop industry who has taught so many other big idols) said that jongho is up there with the most professional/best vocalists in kpop like Baekhyun! People still to this day try and hate on him saying things like he’s always sceaming when he’s hitting those high notes but in reality they all jealous and dont know what real singing is. He has a OST called Gravity and on their new album thats about to be released he will have a solo song called Everything so defo check it out!

Not only is Ateez one of the most talented groups out there, but they're also one of the funniest. They have a show on their channel called Wanteez where they play games, do improv and play characters/perform skits and if you wanna see how hilarious they are, definitely invest time into watching all the episodes! They've literally made me laugh so hard, I cried. It's also a good way to learn who they all are.

it shocked me too when i see many people praising them but once i checked them out, the amount of views they have deserves more than what they get.. i usually switch ult group every month but after i've known ateez, i have never left them and it's almost a year now! i hope you can react to their upcoming comeback with full album on dec 1st :D

When I first got into Ateez I watched lyric videos and the og MV next to each other so that I would learn to recognize names, faces and voices. But that only after I watched their Nav’s on their own. They are really good even without being able to recognize every first as a newbie. Now it’s so easy😂

i totally get your reaction to the bridge and final chorus of deja vu. the bridge is like electricity in the air and then the hit into the chorus is like lightning finally striking. the buildup and tension are perfect
