I love orandas and ranchus i have 4 ranchus and 4 orandas in a 75 gallon fish tank, I change the substrate to sand because they were messing around with the gravel all the time, also they will eat almost any plant that is inside the tank, thats why i didnt add too many plants, I prefer feed them with floating mini pellets for oranda Hikari brand, are very convenient and keeps the tank clean.
