I ordered my first bolt gun (MPA PMR II) in November and look forward to shooting some matches at Frontline Defense and Coleman’s Creek. Cheers from southern wake county.
I'm also 5'-5", I trimmed the two steel LOP posts in the but slightly and took the weight out. Running a 26" mtu profile 6mm with all the brass weights out front. Balances about 3" forward of the mag guard with a kahles dlr up top with seekins rings. Just thought I'd share sweet rifle.
Been waiting... and I AM DEFINITELY RIGHT WITH YOU ON THE " GT " and really loving ( okay... and... a... whole lotta' lust too !!! ) this build ! Great job my friend, KUDO'S for the WORTHWHILE wait sir!
go to a foundation centurion, the TCS grip to trigger distance is miserable unless you have large hands, you can also get the length of pull down to 12.5.
I’m starting to build my first bolt gun , you have the 2 stocks I’m considering the krg and manners which of the 2 do you like better if you could only have one ? And where about in Nc are ya I’m on coast and just joined a private club with 1k plus hence the bolt action build
Depends on what you plan on doing with the rifle . I love both but you can only do so much to a stock vs the KRG where it has endless mounting options for whatever you want , so to awnser your question i would perfer the KRG esp since they are getting ready to release their new competition chassis . Im close to jacksonville NC
Hi. Awesome setup. Just got myself a similar setup and now I need to get a scope. I see in your video that you own a zco and a vortex. Which one do you prefer ? Thanks
I love them both and they both perform extremely well , but if money was not an option i would go with ZCO just because i feel it cuts through the mirage and the clarity is a little bit better .
My honest opinion yes , the clarity is alot better Check out DLO or dark lord of optics. He test different scopes and goes into great detail on how scopes work and where the money is spent and why
Honestly the feel between the Manners and KRG are very similar . I started out on a Mcmillian stock and grew up shooting stocks so the KRG felt like a stock to me when i got it and gave me modularity that most stocks dont come with .
I wish that the Manners had more options for placement of internal and external weights instead of just the brass weights under the arca rail and the weight for the rear butt plate .
Nice rig But does it make you a better shooter? Buying an expensive guitar doesn’t make you Carlos Santana. Where do you stand on the PRS national standings?
