Thanks! I'm on board for this! Can't wait for the next part. :) I wanted to show this documentary to my friend, well to watch it together, but he lives in other town and can't travel here because of covid. Now it's like replacement for me to watch it with you. :)
The Finnish language is so interesting. Far from many others. Finnish is a Uralic language and also in the Uralic language tree are Estonian that have some similarities and far distance is Hungarian. Plus like 20 others minor languages.
Had to go back and watch part 1.... I didn't tell you in the last one, when Emppu actually met Floor (hardly call it face-to-face, now, can I !?) he said "She's two of me!" as he looked up! Floor was coming out of a burn out when she arrived in Seattle!... Yes! Nightwish "Imaginaerum" wine was a real thing - Ribera Del Duero Denominacion De Origen 2010 and Spain 2010. I understand that it is sold out. Kittee is Tuomas' home town - so the mayor' attendance at the gig had meaning for him. Pink Floyd vibes? - That song is "Slow, Love, Slow" - the version from Montreaux 2012 with Anette is excellent!
@@infin8reactions Tuomas, Tarja, Emppu and Jukka all come from Kitee, a small town in east Finland a the Russian border, with less than 10k inhabitants. They all had the same music teacher who helped the band to get started. Tuomas still lives there, also his wife is from there, and Nightwish is a big deal for the town. As soon as I sat down to watch this I had to leave, and then I got side tracked with humming etc... Finally watched, love this documentary 💞 your reaction to it is really great, I actually get sad when you have to stop 😋💞 Honestly, Lee, you have listened to so many popular songs by them, but you’ve barely scratched the surface of Nightwish, and that’s got to be a little exciting. I’m envious at least lol. This show “Imaginaerum” is one of the best complete albums Tuomas has ever done. He even made a little film adaptation of it. The music throughout this docu is all from Imaginaerum & The Score
I've thought a lot since watching this documentary about the comment about not knowing Tarja's vocal style and the thought came to me maybe that plus the rest of the bands talent was the "secret sauce" that made them. Without all that Nightwish might not exist today. The Jukka cam and stage tour was so cool
So happy for the love to Stratovarious! Timmo Tolki is a great musicician and sonwriter! I would most likely not have learned of Nightwsh if not for Stratovarious first!
