In two one of our RC10B7 video series, we talk about why we decided to design an all new chassis rather than an update to the B6. For our full list of products, visit our website. www.AssociatedElectrics.com

Things are certainly hotting up in the 2 wd class with the new Mugen and now Associated. Also of course many other makes have equally good designs. Going to be an interesting 2024
Since I don’t race anymore and my last two buggies are a b4.2 and a b44.3 maybe I will get a b7 and find a carpet track near Jacksonville Florida. I miss being in the pacnorwest for tracks
Love Team Associated for trusting in new designers ideas. Incorporating carpet and on road RND is smart for innovation as tracks get progressively higher grip. No doubt this will also lead to success for those on Dirt as well.
I can see the attention to detail on some of the weak points of the B6 series. The swaybars look much better engineered for precision and minimal slop. And it looks like you can now adjust the outer front ball stud vertically. The transmission looks slammed as low as possible so better COG, initial interta, and aerodynamics!?!
I've had to jump through hoops on my 6.4 to get the steering I want, especially on dirt, but the kit was originally a carpet kit so it has the "geriatric chassis"
Hard to know. As they said, the 6.4 was extremely refined. I imagine it's sort of like real cars. Buying a vehicle the first year of a major re-design can be risky. Improvements everywhere, but some small unforeseen annoyances and lack of refinement throughout the vehicle. Maybe it's different, and that's a bad analogy, but the 6.4 is a great car.
Well they did secretly test it so it has to be good , they can't afford to have a a failure. I wish they refined the SCT with 7 chassis instead of the 6.4 but o well @@mouseFPV
The biggest thing holding these cars back is weight transfer causing understeer . I wonder if anyone will ever make a front wheel drive 2wd buggy . Would be epic to see.
Nothing is stopping you from opening a dirt track or running a dirt car. The OEM’s jobs are to follow industry trends and that’s where the industry is at right now.
It’s a nice idea and on prepped surface maybe it is and a lot of people say that but when your brand new kit is scratched to death and covered in shit after one race carpet seems more appealing anyday .
Likewise, carpet sucks! The cars look cool when covered in dirt and dust instead of carpet fibers. Carpet is for sissies, may as well stick to onroad cars then.
@@neontetra1000 That's part of racing Off road. It's going to get dirty and banged up. RC off road racing needs to split into two segments. True Off road, and On road with jumps.
