Also high risk for thyroid cancer, uncontrollable vomiting, intestinal paralysis, pancreatic, kidney & liver issues. Two diabetic family members who actually need these types of meds have had very difficult time finding the right medication to control diabetes. One had uncontrollable vomiting which was very scary, some patients experience intestinal paralysis & of course very slow gastric emptying. So much involved with these drugs. Food aversion causes lower metabolism, mineral & vitamin deficiencies which lead to other health issues.

I declined to date a man who lost significant weight, 50+ pounds, on these drugs because his longevity prospects were lowered and he was already older than me, and still had Diabetes. I offered a whole food plant based diet for weight loss and reversal of metabolic disorders like Diabetes, which I had experienced. I lost 150+ pounds and reversed Fibromyalgia and Diabetes and kept it off over 8 years now. He was not interested. I lost interest in him. He was not a good risk for me. Intermittent fasting works great, too. Thank you for all the great content!
Unfortunately plant base also has risks too x a family member had huge muscle loss as vegetarian diet can have without dairy and now she has spine issues and osteoporosis along with osteoarthritis x her life now after years of little protein is pain x Her face is much older than a typical 73 year old x
