The Skate 22 crew was on fire Tuesday in East Orange for the first annual Skate 22 Reunion, hosted by Kurby Brown and Heaven on Wheelz! Dope house music soundtrack brought to you by legendary NJ roller skate DJs, Mustafa and Nile. Energy off the charts from start to finish!
Skate 22, closed in 2015, was located in Union, NJ and was home to some of the regions best roller skaters. While the rink shut its doors years ago, the skate family has stayed tight as evidenced through this video! While I never had a chance to skate at Skate 22, its legacy and unique skate style lives on through amazing skaters like you see in this video. There's just nothing like north NJ roller skating... And anyone from here knows it!
