I think they said on the DVD I got it that it is 2.84 lb for every PSI so every 1 PSI is 2.84 lb a hundred pounds of pressure on your tank is 284 lbs something like that
Just started building strings in the last year or so. I use all the same equipment and techniques. Where was this video when I started 😂 it would’ve saved me lots of headaches. Have you ever cut string strands while serving towards the end loop? Right about where the strands spread out to wrap around the post is where I cut a lot of strands when I first started… Cool video and looks like you build some great strings!
Thanks bud! I did have an older video but not near as in depth. I get the "struggle" of learning for sure! Lol. The only place I break strands is when I cut serving that I remember. What material do u use to build with??
@@WadesSwampDonkeyArchery BCY 454, halo servings, powergrip for center. Never tried the bloodline stuff for building but when I worked on bows with those strings in the past I didn’t like how slippery they were 🤷♂️
It takes some getting used to to work with it but I really like it. Just has too many advantages for me not to use. I used x99 for about a year and loved it but once I tried this bloodline I've been on it. That combo u ate using is bulletproof as well!!
enjoyed your older bow string vids and this one . wanted to try my hand at making string and cables for my old bow but cant seem to find specs on it were do you string builders get the specs on older bows ?
I wanna start making my own strings to really dial in my performance in my setup. Where can I find info on how long the end serving needs to be, where to place the speed nocks and things of that nature?
@@WadesSwampDonkeyArcherymight have to look into that. Thanks for the reply! These videos were super informative and definitely made me feel like I can handle this. Awesome content, man!
@@WadesSwampDonkeyArcheryI use to be an engine technician at the local ford dealership wrenching on them pesky ecoboost and powerstroke engines so I would think I can figure it out. Now to just shell out some coin for some tooling 😅
Assume that the string rotation circle is clockwise, the right side serves counterclockwise, the center serves clockwise, and the left side serves counterclockwise. Is this so that the string will not twist?
