And add another top build to your collection came out Great, You never really know why you stop a build and then go back for what ever reason but when you go back and look its always like humm what was I thinking here ,Glad to see you got this one back out and finished the build came out outstanding .As always thumbs up to your builds looking forward to the next video
Thank you for sharing your expertise with us. Learning a lot from your tips and instructions. Thanks a lot !!! You are the man!!! Strong hug!Jorge Marcelo, Brasília-Brasil.
Exceptionally well done video. What I appreciate the most of your videos is your willingness to admit that you do get dust in your clear and what you are going to do about it. Also how detailed your explanations are throughout the process. Thanks Paul
just found your channel.. fantastic job on this Aston. i did not know how much effort that you put into a building a model. i would like to start doing easy models but not got a clue what to buy.. subbed your channel..
Looks like it coming together well. That blue sets the body off. Can you show how you do your windscreen rubbers painting/masking? when you get to that part of the build please. Love the video format with voice over the build flows really well. Many thanks Paul
Very nice Paul. I have also noticed some seam lines reappear in many kits from Tamiya or Hasegawa, even new ones (like the Mazda MX-5) not only using ZP but also other laquer paints even laquer primers like Mr surfacer! It can be very frustrating. All the best.
Cheers buddy, there already is one as part of the Subaru technique video series I did a while back, its linked in the description on the links for products I use
Yeah. This actually makes sense. Do you have any tips on two tone paint job? I’ve failed I kit and I’m trying to achieve a silver stripe on a black. What do you suggest? Silver before and then black, or viceversa? Thanks
Can I ask if there's a particular reason you do the panel line wash before the clear coats Paul - you mention you've not had any reaction with the clear coat doing it that way, so that seems to suggest there might be a risk that there could be? I always do the wash after clearcoating....
Very informative video Paul. Quick question, when spraying the clear coat and you leave it to stand for a while and then return to carry on ,do you have to clean the airbrush tip in case it's dried on the tip. All the best.
2k Has about a 30min working time so your safe to leave it in the brush for the 15mins if flashes off, I tend to empty the brush through and run some of the 2k thinner through it to keep it clear
Hi Paul, love your vids. I was wondering if you use an air purifier in your hobby room? I have one that I run for an hour before spraying, it cuts down on the dust landing on my paint jobs. P.S. That blue is dreamy.
Whenever I see the video Title "Paul-ISM" i read it like 'ism; Noun: a distinctive practice, system, or philosophy, typically a political ideology or an artistic movement." You know, a Paulism.
Great video Paul. Looking forward to the 3rd instalment. This might seem a silly question!!! Do you use pipettes once then dispose of them? I have purchased 300 of various sizes and try and clean them after use, with varying results! Am I just being a tight ass and should I bin them after each session?
No not at all, as I say in the video the paint is applied in very thin coats, all the way back would hose it on, only you can judge the feel of your airbrush and that comes with experience
