This is my 580 mile loop I made as I traveled in the Florida Panhandle area as well as southern Georgia. I tent camped and used hotels when tent camping was not available.
Nice presentation! I recognized a few of the Florida towns! I’ve done Boston-Key West-San Diego. I almost forgot about the worm thing! I was passing through the weekend it was happening g!safe trips! Andrew
I really enjoy riding the back roads of the panhandle. I did a ride a couple years ago from Tallahassee to Mobile to check out Mardi Gras. Fantastic riding until you get to Alabama. More camo and jacked up trucks than Florida and no shoulder ever. Do you have a spot where you post the entire route?
Agreed, Alabama had more rural country loving people than Florida. I really enjoyed the roads in Georgia that I rode and recommend checking them out; I will again one day. I haven't posted my route anywhere, but if you look at the daily route map animation, you should be able to glean the exact route when you compare it to Google maps. There were not a ton to turns. Thanks for watching!
In my 20's, I was more hardcore and relished the suffering. I try not to suffer as much nowadays now that I have more funds available, but I am trying harder to be outside more than inside as I find that being outside does make for better memories. I got better with this trip. Thanks for watching!
