There is really no reason to remove the skreets. This layer does not get wet (pan liner sits on top of it), so I see no reason to remove the skreets.

I would remove the wood skreets. If he had used the standard plastic ones then I would not see a need as it is not as susceptible to moisture and temperature.

Hector hector hector? Why why why did you need the skreets and then why did you remove them? Please update us with a video.

I rewatched some of this....this is a complete disaster....
