Don't know if ya,ll know this cat, but I've been turkey hunting for 42 years, started using his call bout 6 or 7 years ago, only use gobbler sniper calls now, easy to use and sound great

Me too buddy, I've tried every way. The d west he's talking about, I sound like an animal dying. I can't gurgle, I can do it with my lips but it's loud, can't do it quietly
Honestly everyone is different. I can get great purrs and clucks with Ol Red because it’s very light stretch 2 reed, but it’s very hard to get the whines or whistles. All in all I use the Superhen for everything. Which is a 3 reed medium stretch batwing. It’s hard to say for everyone
