I love the way you cut this system in and blended it to his own hair. So many stylists on RU-vid glue the system on top of the head, and then ruin the illusion by shaving the sides and back and making the system on top look like a bad toupee. There are a few videos on RU-vid with shockingly bad results.

This is by far the best instructional set of video's I've seen to date on YT. I've watched these videos about 4 times now, beginning to end, and each time pick up some new information or am enlightened to new or better techniques. You have taught an old dog a few new tricks and for that you have my gratitude. I think for this guy, the density is age appropropriate (and he has his own hair density to match) and the finished look is indeed as close to "real" that one could hope to achieve with a 'skin' system, however I do believe that the lace frontal systems provide a more realistic hairline given they can be recessed and thinned so that one can 'look into the hairline' and see hairs growing from the head at a greater depth (looking from the front of the system) than the skin systems.

I appreciate the humility🙏 and thank you so much for watching and commenting. Most of my tricks and tips came after being on the road teaching across the country. I started with teaching a basic technique and would learn a little from stylists in each class and have been better for it.

I watched all the videos beginning to end, very informative. You sound like me, I don't do fades either. Good tip with the thinning shears around the hair line. A"wall of hair " along the hair line is a dead give away of wearing a hair system

@@profitablestylistacademy I personally had 1500 grafts, but wanted a system because I knew only it would give me the volume I wanted. Being a one time 5,000 investment I was talked out of the system when told how much it costs per year to keep the hair cuts and reseating. Pastor told me who had a system, you can do it yourself after a while, but never would be able to get it looking as good as you! Guess if I ever did get a system I would have a great hairline to glue it to lol. I get by with fibers now…

That’s what I recommend if it’s an option. You have to have enough donor hair and a smaller area than what’s possible with this 🙏

@@profitablestylistacademy I was thinking of surgery, but the before and after pictures just never look that good. Plus the donor area always has hair sticking out making it a dead giveaway. Then as the hair loss goes further, the only style you can wear is straight back to cover the new areas of loss. Taking the plunge with a system and removing my existing hair, which is still plentiful, is a hard choice to make. Thanks, and look forward to more videos.

Nice video! Please talk about the upkeep maintenance cost of a hair system. Its a kept secret for some reason... What is the initial cost of a wig? What is the required timeframe of getting another wig, or how long do they typically last, months, years?

Hair Replacement like this takes about two hours to apply the first time, but that’s after a consultation to order the correct color and size. Usually the hair can be received in a few days, but occasionally takes longer if a custom order is needed. Then a monthly service and hair cut is necessary to maintain the look. New hair is replaced every 3-6 months depending on the hair system chosen. Hair cost ranges from $800. to $1,500. Service ranges from $100. to $250.

does the glue itch at night ? I see these videos and wonder how people keep the wig onn on a hot day or when they go for swim or a run ? How long does this glue last till it gives up and what happens to the scalp skin on the head with all that adhesive when wig is removed ?

Does not itch at all on most people. Stays on very well through most sports, swimming and activities. About every 2-3 weeks a client gets it cleaned up and new adhesive. It’s a medical grade adhesive that works well with the skin. We’ve been using this system on some men and women over 30 years.

Awesome hairstyling. Best I've seen yet. How long can one keep the hair on before it starts to separate from the scalp? Can one shower with it on? I believe the head needs to breathe. So having the hair glue will stop the breathing. How long can one keep it on? When should one remove the hair? What's the name of the hair glue used on your video?

@@vicentepintadoiborra6959 Thank you 🙏 Maintenance visits are about 4 weeks apart. The scalp breathes fine. We’ve been doing some of the same people for over 30 years👍 We use a few different adhesives during the services depending on the client. Ghost Bond is a popular one.

Depends on the style system you get. The better looking, higher quality ones don't last as long (2-4 months), while the thick, toupee looking ones last a year or more.

Approximately how much would this cost on average to get this service as a customer. Would $2500 a year (3-4 systems and maintenance) sound like a reasonable estimate or should I expect to pay more? What percent tip per session on top of that would my stylist expect from me? I'm really interested in getting this done, but like to plan ahead. P.S. - You did amazing work, not sure what some of these negative comments are comparing your work to, but it's definitely top notch!

🙏 $2,500-$3,000 should be expected, depending on the salon and location. Expenses range by area. The comments: Just wow! Right??!! Most are good, but a few can’t help being mean and judgmental. It’s really crazy🤷‍♂️

300 what? The amount you charge is a personal and geographical norm. If you are worth it, charge it.

@@profitablestylistacademy 300$ it ssems a lot since the system was 200. It looks to me that they charge you xtra cause they cant profit from the system they cant sell you when you bring ur own. a haircut is normaly 70$ so taping a system is extra 230$? thats a lot!

The hair above his ear is growing from his head and naturally transitions to reddish brown in his beard. It’s so common in men to have different colored facial hair. I think it’s what makes it look more believable 🤷‍♂️

Not this one🤷‍♂️ It’s a risk buying online. The quality is all over the place, with most being terrible. Then who’s going to cut it?🤷‍♂️ It’s best to get the hair from the stylist that is experienced in cutting hair systems.

Might be because his hair is dark, but can definitely spot the hairline. To me at least, this doesn't look realistic in the front, the back and sides however are great :-)
