great series. very informative .question..I have a 68 California coupe and was curious if you feel adding AC would ding the value of my original pagoda. it will soon be going to the classic center for a restoration but not changing the color nor going to leather instead of MBZtex I want it to be as close to the window sticker (which I still have) but would like to put AC in if it wont ding the value.
I don't think it will, simply because AC is SO important to most people. It definitely increases value, even if the car wasn't "born" with it. But do check with the Classic Center about which type of unit to mount, it's possible that they would have an original FridgiKing unit, which would be correct for the car.
