You mentioned at the end of this video that you hope these videos are helpful. You should know these videos are indeed a HUGE help! I especially enjoy how you break down the verbiage found in the ICD-10-CM Official guidelines. It’s music to my ears. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing your knowledge through this virtual space. I appreciate you 🎉
Thank you for guiding complete strangers through the obstacle maze of medical coding. This thing is a beast. I appreciate every presentation from your platform.
Truth to the other subscriber, you never quit learning. I've been out of work for 7 years! and I'm going to try and get back into coding (I still hold my AAPC CPC certification). I appreciate these videos, you're helping me review the 2024 guidelines.
These videos are so helpful. The time you take to explain the guidelines and bring them to life has really helped me to understand them. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you very much for taking the time to make these videos for us. I'm currently studying for the CPC certification exam and your videos are very helpful , you make it so easy to understand. I do have my AAPC study guide, but your videos are so helpful. you are a blessing to so many people. Thanks again, and God bless.
Thank you for sharing that at the beginning of the video. I have been listening to your videos while I'm working. I have found that it is so easy to become siloed as a coder. My endeavor is to be well rounded. Your videos helped me 6 years ago when I was studying for my CPC. Thank you Coach for encouraging coders everywhere❤.
I just finished online training and sadly I didn't learn much😮💨 so now I'm doing self-study. I am in the health field so medical terminology is pretty good, but the guidelines are slightly overwhelming but I'm excited for this new career. Thank you for your much-needed help❤
I just enrolled in Medical coding and I'm doing advance research because I'm confuse where I will start. I'm so glad that I've found your videos they are so helpful to me as I am new in medical industry as 0 knowledge about it and your videos helping me to understand about each chapter. Thank you so much please don't stop uploading videos. God bless❤
Thank you very much for the in depth information, I have learned more for you than my own teacher, so thanks to you again for taking the time out to explain in depth these guidelines, so very helpful. You should see me in class getting everything right 💪, thanks to your class. !!!
I'm still in school and still feel overwhelmed especially about coding first. Is there a way to get more clarification or s this when I totally follow guidelines? I don't mean to come across ignorant but there is so much in such small "doses" that I'm learning each semester that I'm not sure I'm getting what I need for the exam.
Just remember, as a Medical Coder, our goal is to code the diagnoses to the fullest extent. If the code does not include everything needed, then you know you will need an additional code. Look in the Tabular List for directions like "use additional code" or "code first". This will help you to know which code goes first.
It’s all about training the eye (as our master coach mentioned before). It can definitely feel overwhelming at first but it get better. Practice make progress and the more you get use to the format of the modules the less overwhelming it gets! Don’t give up! Keep at it. Find a study schedule that won’t burn you out and it will all come together for you 😊 the modules are your guide. Challenge yourself to get to know the ways of your modules (inside/out) and once your familiar with them you will recall and know where to go to find your appropriate code. The book is so detailed because it’s meant to guide you through any scenario per category! Good look and remember you have a community of coders out there!
