Anyone, anyone studying online for coding should watch these videos! Period. Let me say, I was struggling with understanding all of it until I came across these videos. You MUST read through, AND understand the guidelines for all your coding books. After doing this one thing, all the other stuff made sense and i could answer questions more readily. THANK YOU!!
I've been feeling discouraged by the overwhelming number of "coaches" and "teachers" on RU-vid who make everything confusing and abstract for beginners. However, you stand out because you explain things in detail and in a way that makes me realize the material isn't actually confusing-it's all about how you approach the information.
I'm in school & 😢 still dnt get any of it. How are you learning all by yourself? I'm looking for a short term class to get me more on track before I take my certification in like 7 weeks or so when I graduate. Any help or guidance in the right direction would be greatly appreciated ❤
I love this video and I love coding!! I just accepted an offer; literally my dream job, just a year into my career. I am soooo grateful!! Trying to do refreshers on all guidelines to ensure I don’t let them down. I start in 1 week. I’m a HCC coder, with a CPC-A and CRC
Your teaching videos are very educational. They help me to paint a better coding picture with each one that I review. Thanks for the information Coach.
I am so glad I found you! I've been struggling with my coding classed with i-Code academy. It feels like I'm teaching myself! I felt all alone until I found your videos! I feel I've learned so much more by watching your first Guidelines video than have from i-Code in the more than 4 months I've been attending class. I plan to watch ALL of your videos for extra help and clarification! I don't feel so lost anymore.
I agree with you. I just finished my class with aapc and the teacher I got was new and she didn't really know what she was talking about. I asked her questions about the guidelines she would just copy and paste from her book, acting like we already knew all these fancy words. I found her videos, and I have learned so fast, and it all makes sense . Thank you as well
Your help in these videos is invaluable. I have adult adhd and I need to listen to learn while I do other things or I get distracted. You are the only one who’s doing it right. You are a fantastic teacher! Thank you so much!❤
Oh my goodness! I am SO GLAD you are still up here teaching!! You are the one that helped me pass my CPC exam finally after the 5th try :) I am THRILLED you are teaching these new guidelines...I have to study these to get a new job...I lost my job I have been at for the last 8.5 years...I LOVE your teaching methods-the way u show examples and I love your sweet positive encouraging approach. THANK YOU!!
Hello there! I am currently studying medical coding and just came across your video. I already subscribed to your channel and will be watching you frequently from here on. God bless you and I know you will be a great help to my studies. Thank you for sharing your knowledge to everybody 🙏❤️☺️
Awesome teaching you go through with the guidelines so easy. I love watching your videos it is really gonna help me when I start my coding class in the fall.
I love❤ this vídeo, how explains the additional character required symbols what they mean and what you should do when you see them in the book! And how you explains all with examples. Thank you so much for this video very helpful!!🎉🎉
My ahaaaaaaa moment 14:40 !!!! I watch and hear and learn better that way. I’m self studying and have been struggling with the code book for so many weeks. Thank you soooo much. M gonna binge watch now. I’m sure I’ll understand and learn a lot more quicker now!!
thank you so much for this!!! everyone else will just tell us, learners, to read, read, read your guidelines. yes, i understand that we need to read them but if there's no explanation, it's really difficult to understand them. especially words that are not really familiar to us. your explanation is amazing! i can't wait to watch all your other videos. i was finally able to say...oh, that's what it means... thank you!!! pls don't stop
I'm not getting my notifications for your channel as I should be. And I truly depend on your channel for coding guidance and help to fully understand my online studies. Your help is invaluable. Please don't stop. Please.... but I'm not getting my notifications. And I need them! And congratulations to all the ones leaving msgs that they passed their exams🎉ooowooo!! I hope to be right here in about a year saying the same achievement!!
Fantastic clarity. Thank you CodeMaster Coach. ** I just entered the Coding Chapters in my program and its kinda making my head spin. But your very articulate explanation of these different rules and guidelines and explained very well. So thank you. 👌 Phew.,
Thank you, I’m currently in my practice class and struggling with guidelines.. I sit for my CCS certification in March and I am nervous. Thank you so much for breaking this down.
I just discovered your channel, I am currently enrolled in an Outpatient Coding program and just entered the coding portion. With it being self paced, it's easier to have someone explain some of information to you. This is for sure helpful!!! Thank you!! ♥♥♥ New subbie here!
I just found your videos and they are saving me. I felt so alone and now I feel confident I can understand the material. Thank you. I was also wondering if I could get the word document from the video?
I’m so glad I found this. I’m at the end of my aapc class and I’m not ready for the exam because I don’t feel they have explained the guidelines for me to understand.
Thank you so much for your help! It's been a huge help! I am in school for coding and I have One question-in regards to for the guideline 18. There are times when I can make a physician Querry, is that right? Should I do that before I use guideline 18?
Is there a link to get a copy of your Word document that you are referring to? This is my first study session and first day on your channel. I appreciate your effort to make this easy to understand.
Does the AAPC instructor led course, do they focus heavily on the guidelines? I would hope they do… just wondering. Trying to figure out if I want to take their course or not.
I'm still somewhat confused on the Excludes 1 and Excludes 2 notes. Is there an article that explains this more in detail or can you refer me somewhere else to get this information?
Thank you very much for a very explicit, well explained and nicely presented video on the icd 10 cm guideline lessons. Please, may I know what publisher of the icd 10 cm book are you using so I can use the same book to follow and also what book will you highly recommend? I am studying to take the cpc exam. Thanks !
Good stuff! Question on acute on chronic, example- acute on chronic pancreatitis. Would we code an acute and chronic code since there’s no combo code? Thanks in advance!!
Where should I start outside of getting books when it comes to studying CPC/and using your channel. I’ve been in the industry 6 years but have yet to sit for exam ❤
Oh I forgot, I wanted to ask you a question. I currently work with a healthcare insurance company, like BCBS. I am a RN, CCM, case manager over the phone. I understand that NCQA HEDIS CMS wants more done for SDoH an assessment. As a care manager that is discussing these issues with my members over the phone. How can an insurance company bill for the assessments I complete. I think as a CCM Care manager I could help my company by completing assessments and they can bill for this. I would like to learn more. Our company is not as up to date on how our CCM's can help more with ROI. I think this is an area we can do better.
