Can you use the manual faders together with the running chase's or run 2 chase's simultaneously? For example when you create chase1 that runs through 4 positions on the movinghead (robolights, idk how you call them) and chase2 runs through the different colors on the movinghead. So you can run chase1 and still use the manual faders to change the colors or run chase2 and still use the manual faders to move the movingheads. Or combine the 2 and run chase1 and chase2 together so the movinghead is moving and changing colors simultaneously on its own
Yes, you should be able to use the manual faders together with a running chase. On the main panel, you have the Main Dimmer and a Chase Dimmer - you can fade in the chases. There is also two more dimmers for the A faders and Memory faders which allow you to fade in Presets (A) and Scenes (Memory). If these faders are up, then you should be able to use the individual Presets and Scene fader/dimmers to bring them up during a chase. Hopefully, there won't be conflict between the chase commands and manual dimmers. Unfortunately, you can only run one chase at a time. In a scene, you can control the color and position of a movinghead light(s). You could have the scenes setup on the Memory faders and hit the flash keys to turn them on during a chase. A quick disclaimer, I haven't done anything this complicated but it does sound reasonable based on the manual and my experience with the board. Good luck and leave a comment on what you find out.
In thinking this over, you might end up running out of Preset faders really quickly. You only have 24 that can control 3 DMX channels each. Might have to get real creative.
