I needed a way to move my car around without wheels, saw your video and purchased some DJS Fabrications universal dollies. I have a Roadster shop spec chassis as well. I am having an issue with the dollies clearing the lower control arm. Did you have a similar issue and if so, how did you get around it? Any hints at this point would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
Yes, sheetmetal was all from RDS. Problem is the front sheetmetal has never been fitted, it's off the shelf. After much time and work, all the gaps are done. It's a difficult fender/door alignment and it just takes patience and expertise to get it done correctly.
question for you. I'm doing an L83 in my 37 and there are hoses coming out of each valve cover that I think went to the air intake. I'm wondering what you did with them.
Those are the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system. In the Gen V car engines they come together in a sump and empty into the pan. In the truck they don't have the sump so you can use a simple breather or tie them together. There's also one by the throttle body that ties into the manifold. It's also good practice to have one tie into the intake tube.
