i have been a fan of Israel’s music for 20 years now...his songs were my favorite to lead worship at my church when i was singing in the music choir like him, my path took some turns and he is still to the day the only christian music i listen to...when i left church, i barely got a single call from my so called friends and pastors...he is 💯 right to say great to call the lost but suck to keep the saved ones keep doing what you are doing Israel you are transforming lives with your music

Israel Houghton is a blessed vessel of the Almighty God; and nothing or any hypocritical standards of those whose sins have not yet come to light, can stop this man from continuing to fulfil his divine purpose.

I am not religious nor Christian. But I really like what Isreal said here and I'm considering checking out his music.

Praise God! I'm so glad that you ladies had Israel Houghton on today! I've been following his worship for over 20 years and I can relate so much with what you had to say my brother! I used to be a part of a worship team for many years and you're so right as soon as we fall and actually go through something we are judged harshly! But our past does not dictate our future! The people that walked away and judged you when you fell and we're going through things in your life are not the people that you want to be connected with!The people that loved you and walked with you through your pain and shortcomings and are still there are the very people that are supposed to still be there!!!And you are absolutely right our Brokenness, our pains....our mistakes are relatable and can help restore others people's hurts and Brokenness and pain! God uses the people that don't have it all together because we're relatable and then people can say wow God still loves me despite my mistakes?!!!! What the enemy means for harm God uses for his glory every single time my brother! Your words hit home because I know exactly what you went through! God uses the imperfect broken people for His glory and purpose!! I love that you have held on to your gift that the Lord has given you! God is not done with YOU yet!! Just yesterday I played Alpha and Omega to get ready for an interview. The Holy Spirit kept impressing on my heart to play it and invite Him into the atmosphere. Then right after, "I live to Worship" played.

I remember when I first began to understand the significance of praise and worship. My favorite ministry songs were every song on your CDs. Every church was singing what God gave you. I know God has brought you through some things and he's the one who established you. No man can cancel you. We go in the cave but we come out transformed. We need your ministry. Thank you

Our brokenness is not attractive to God. God is so merciful that he reaches out to us “in our brokenness “ and gives us the ability to be who he has called us to be.

He is so correct about how the church is usually the first to judge and it is sad! We are human and make mistakes. God bless you Israel!

More than an interview. This was a testimony. Way to go Israel.✊🏾

Exactly Mr. Houghton. People should really stop condemning other people for not living up to their expectations and standards. Your standards are not God's standards. Anyone who calls themselves Christians need to remember that. Stop sitting people down and ostracizing them when they fall short. We're all human with faults and flaws, and God knows all of them including yours. God can pick up the most broken person, and use them as his miracle and testimony for what he can do for you.

It’s about humility. Israel and Tye Tribbett both fell and stepped away to be healed & restored. The way it’s supposed to be done. The sword cuts both sides. Those who fall & keep ministering with seems like no repentance or remorse. And then those that take a step back and hide in the arms of God to self examine.

The comment that hit me is, our brokenness is attractive to God. Man I have needed this! The idea of being More blessed and life being more meaningful after experiencing the brokenness is so good! Love you Isreal and A! I love you guys

Gosh Israel… I sang with you at the Scottsdale Dream center and remember those memories by when when you said, your mindset has changed about who God is in us, you made me cry because I remember the trials you went through from the outside. I had to also find my surrender to God as well and am greatful your worship to God never faltered. You spoke so much of who you are and what God can do. I'm at a point in my journey were I'm trying to relearn God's love and what that means.... I want to be immersed in his love.... my idea of his love is messed up by what the world has taught me and believe it or not the church too... the fallen really are rarely considered and are left to dry but that is a terrible misrepresentation of what God's love is!! I want to learn his love his way, for what it is and what it means.

I admire the fact that he owned up to his mistakes and bad decisions in his life regarding marriage and personal choices... however I would like to say this.... WHEN YOU HOLD POSITION OR ARE LOOKED UPON... you have to know that the road is narrow...the way is straight.... because at that moment you are the face of what you are representing..you are highly recommended...you are held in high regards.... IT'S NO LONGER...YOU.. IT'S WHAT YOU REPRESENT.... AND NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOU FAILING.... it's normal... BUT ... stepping back and reviewing your position....is the reasonable thing to do

Good..a good man knows when to take a turn off the freeway to give others a chance to enjoy the freeway.. Even riding at your highest trail you are still able to deliver your passion about your Creator..👍💯

I like what he said in general, and the church certainly needs to take care of the found (stop judging, start loving, identify the hurt, etc). I take issue with what he said after that statement because he's not telling the entire story. Folks in the church were disappointed with him based on HOW he was treating his ex wife, and the church couldn't support him running around on his wife. The same way he talks about Adrienne now is the exact way he'd stand on stage and preach about his ex wife. He literally preach a word of God based on his love for Maleasa. He'd marvel in her and tell how God brought her to him, AND he'd tell this beautiful story about the first time he saw her and how the whole room turned black and white but Meleasa was still in color. The church stood by his family while he was running around with other women. That is the part he's leaving out. I love and enjoy marriage. I would want my church to support me if I was in leadership and my spouse was cheating with other people. The church was doing for his then wife EXACTLY what he said it should do, and that's take care of the found. They took care of his family.
