Finally, the Wait is Over!
In this video, we’ve finally cut our ficus into two parts. The roots have grown enough for us to safely proceed with the split. Now all my hope is that both plants will survive: the first one, which was left without leaves, and the second, which we cut off and left with just a few roots.
In about two months, I plan to revisit the top part, which already has roots, and try splitting it again into two parts, as it’s too long for a bonsai. Stay tuned!
