Cool V said what I've been saying the whole time Rakim and Big Daddy Kane styles are completely different in every way Rakim style was the essence of getting money how you lived during that time and era which overshadowed hip-hop in every way, Kane style of rap was dance rap like Kid n Play, Bizmarkie, Rob Base, Heavy D party stuff what have you but nothing on the level of what Rakim was doing that boy was years ahead of its time.
